I guess if they withhold consent, the parents are obliged to kill them??? Like yeah HOW does this work

I saw this picture and put my hands on my cheeks so I am blessing you all with it as well

1190

Sincerely yes. They think having children IN AND OF ITSELF is abuse

100

I did not stick around long enough to find out but holy shit

010

OK listen, I'm fine with people not having kids—I myself did not have them, largely to avoid recreating the cycles of abuse within my own family. But arguing that anyone who has children is abusing them because they did not get their children's CONSENT TO BE BORN is absolutely bananapants

I would die for ol man pony

My current fandom is having a whale of a time with Kinktober and I'm like "have fun kids! Check you later!" because I don't think my preferences should have any bearing on what they enjoy! THIS IS APPARENTLY A NOVEL POSITION WITHIN MUCH OF FANDOM

I want to send this to every single fandom person I see posting complaints about how There Is Too Much Of This Fandom Thing I Don't Like (also click through for another truly excellent "there's a story here and we will probably never know it" screengrab)

I sincerely miss Philly every day, truly my favorite place I've ever lived

Is Richard E Grant the sweetest man alive? Yes obviously

Instagram screengrab of Grant on "Celebrity Traitors," where he says "My wife said to me four days before she died: 'Try and find a pocketful of happiness in each day. And I feel like I've got a wheelbarrow full and then some." ADORABLE

Hey are any of y'all record album aficionados? I have a bunch of records from my parents and they seem to be in good shape, but Dad's record player died even before he did and the little portable one I bought made everything skip horribly. Any recs for a good record player? No need to be portable.

210

Well at least one good thing happened today

0110

Agreed, but don't forget that this isn't literal, you will lose bone density and muscle mass if you don't make conscious efforts to keep them! Hit those weights, my fellow quadragenarians! Get your swole on!

Can somebody British explain to me why Stephen Merchant is famous? Not in a mean way, but apparently him being on Ludwig is a big deal? Is it just because he's tall or am I missing something

100

Love that Henry, the teenager, is demonstrably the smartest *and* most mature member of the Betts-Taylor family

100

Delighted that Dipo Ola is back playing Carter though, with his "I can't believe I like this guy" energy around John. And of course Dorothy Atkinson as my beloved DCS Shaw who doesn't like anybody

100

Very tidy way of explaining the absence of Izuka Hoyle (now starring in Prisoner) and Gerran Howell (The Pitt) by claiming Finch and Evans have been transferred to avoid the fallout from S1. Also John being baffled at the idea that Evans has a bright career ahead of him is some chef's kiss trolling

We should do a watch party! I ahve a PROJECTOR SCREE

100

As someone who's worn them for almost 20 years I'm offended that something so uncool has become trendy

Shoutout to his son/editor, who adds a panicked text "WE BUILT THIS IN 2015 WE DIDN'T THINK HE WOULD WIN" on the screen when his dad shows off a skyscraper that they called Trump Tower

If you want to watch one of the most adorable Minecraft videos ever uploaded, please enjoy Mike Tomlin (yes, the former NFL coach) somewhat shyly showing off his absolutely bonkerconkers Minecraft city that he spent TWELVE YEARS building. I am watching with my hands pressed to my cheeks

I saw someone else's comment "no pierogies for this shithead either"

I've been doing group tours for about a year and discovered that I'm pretty much equally comfortable talking to groups regardless of age, but I agree they are completely different skillsets

000

Right? And like, I've blown through stopsigns - even a few stoplights - in the course of my life, I'm not making some claim that women are just better drivers. But like, if someone got mad at me for something I DID WRONG, my first instinct is not to threaten to beat them up!

100

And yes I did look at his plates and yes he was from Florida and yes, I did mutter "Florida Man" under my breath as he (finally) drove away

090

All the while he kept loudly repeating, "YOU THINK YOU'RE BAD?" while, yes, his car was just hanging out in the middle of the street. Like buddy a) you look like a dipshit and b) if you had the time to stop rush hour traffic to try to fight the guy you almost HIT, you had time to stop at a stop sign

130

Today in "Why Are Men Like This" (different anthology series than "Girl, Dump Him" but I bet you can figure out the common link), I watched a driver run a stop sign and almost hit a guy, and when the guy said "what the fuck, man?" the driver got OUT OF HIS CAR and started walking toward the guy.

Ooh where might one find these pics

OH ALSO YOU CAN TRY THE APP FOR FREE. You don't need a subscription; instead you'll get a free episode/mission each week (and I think you can access the Couch to 5K app for free too). So just check it out and see what you think! zombiesrungame.com/news/get-sta...

IDK this thing means a lot to me; when it looked like it was ending I was incredibly saddened, because I didn't think there was anything I could do. Naomi Alderman, bless her boots, rescued it, but I really do want more people to try it themselves and get some measure of... solace? That I have.

It's also *fun* in a way a lot of horror never bothers with; there are episodes (or "missions") where you're retrieving board games or you have to deal with dumbasses doing stupid shit. There's a longrunning arc about how you find the next King of England who tries his hardest to nope out.
