my shop update launches tomorrow, friday the 22nd at 10am AEDT! I will be launching my newest herbologist zine, new notebooks, notepads, prints and washi! any reposts of this is so appreciated 🍄 #supportsmall #supportartists

two zines with a black cover and gold and green frame in the middle. it has many plants surrounding the inner frame. the title is Herbologist, collected plants and fungi 2023-2024. Surrounding the zine is flowers, leaves and acorns picked from my neighbourhood.

two autumnal notepads surround by plants - leaves, flowers and acorns on a white background. the notepads themselves are illustrated with an autumnal themed frame, featuring the fairy ring mushroom, rose hip, weeping bolete, saffron milk cap, and acorn and blackberry. these are all edible plants that can be found in Australia and are also invasive/not native.

brightly illustrated notebooks with botanical artwork with a teal background. it features foxglove, harebell, primrose, lily of the valley, ragwort and bluebell. in the middle is the title fairy flowers notebook. these are flowers associated with the fae in folklore. on the back of the notebook are snippets of the fairy folklore and the plants uses.

black stamp washi tape with gold decorative foil shaped in a frame and stars. each stamp segment has a different mushroom.

Americans: the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT THING you can do for Gaza right now is call your Senators every single day until November 21 and ask them to co-sign Senate Joint Resolutions 111-116, which would block the 11 BILLION DOLLARS of military aid we’re about to send Israel. USCPR has scripts.

Tips para Bluesky: A diferencia de Twitter, aquí hay varias herramientas antiacoso. Si alguien desagradable quiere hacerte daño, puedes evitar que cite tus skeets antes de bloquearle:

Another tip for newbies: You can bookmark a post by commenting on it with a 📌. Once you've done that, it will appear in your "my pins" feed (link below). These are only visible to you. (Also I mute the emoji so I don't have to see it every time someone pins something!) bsky.app/profile/did:...

Aye just a reminder that if you want to easily organize your art to use hashtags. Not only do they actually get you exposure on this site but if you have the hashtag in your bio, people can press and hold it to see any posts you’ve made with that tag!!

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

BY THE WAY, THIS IS IMPORTANT. If you want everyone showing up on your feeds, you gotta go into Settings > Basic > Languages and clear the Content Languages field. Essential.
