So love this. One year, my adult children wrapped up ornaments they'd stolen from my house and gave them out at the Chrismas meal. Took me ages to realise, and I hadn't even noticed them missing. I kept saying, "I have one similar."

Recently, I saw a pensioner wearing a top with a RNLI badge on. He was obviously demontrating support against the RNLI backlash. I just felt sheer admiration that at his age he had the guts to do this and I feel the same about your comment. Thank you for calling Okenshot out.

When I visit places like Munich in Germany and go on the tourist trail tours about WW2 and they talk about fascism and Hitler, all I can picture is how similar it is to today and certain leaders. History is repeating itself and it is frightening.

All we see from the UK is gun crime, Ice, unsafe airports and planes, intimidating border controls, taxes, excess tipping, ESTA nightmares, charges for places like national parks, expensive car hire, hostile MAGA supporters and a load of nutters in the Whitehouse. We prefer anywhere but the USA!
