Pushed the distance 2km/1.2miles further again for this long Sunday run. I blessed the rains down in Newcastle that kept me fresh.

15km completed on this glorious yet warm Sunday morning, only 6km less than what I need to run on the day, gives me hope I can do it 💪🏼💪🏼

Half way through my training for GNR26 and for today’s long run we pushed my longest distance 2km/1.2miles further!

11km for today long run marks the furthest I EVER ran!

Easy afternoon run today, enjoyed the parks and the breeze keeping me company during the whole work out

Final long run for this week, hills were horrendous but I found an interesting gathering of geese by Leazes, never seen so many!

Last run of the week and first since back in Newcastle, legs did not cooperate at all but I saw a pretty family of swans ❤️

Completed my working week away with an easy 4km, saying my goodbyes to Arthur Seat

Change of location for this week training due to work commitments. Cannot complain with those views 🌼

Should have got out earlier to avoid some heat but we got it done nonetheless 💪🏼

Conquered not one, but two Cow hills today. Out of breath, but what a great view awaiting for me 🧡

Struggled to get going but was so worth it, what a great morning to be out and about 💪🏼

Got myself a new pair of running buddies since the old ones saw many moons and many runs, time to break in this new pair 💪🏼

First ever treadmill run and I reckon I messed it up but still got in 7km and felt good 💪🏼

Wind was blowing against me the whole time but at least I had my usual buddies to cheer me up 🧡

Lovely day but the heat got me (again). Still, we didn’t give up 💪🏼

Lovely getting out in the morning today, was nice and quiet and the freeze in town moor was refreshing

Hoped my Mediterranean genes would help but I guess I’m too used to British weather now

In Italian we say “there’s no 2 without 3”, so after running 10K and 8K for CCN, now it’s time to take on another challenge, 21K for the Great North Run!

Got out for a long run, only 600m less than what I will be running in seven days! As always, I had some buddies on the way 🧡

Motivated to get out and found many friends to keep me company on the run, she was the most curious one ❤️🧡

Less than a month left before my first ever Children Cancer North run, cannot wait to take part! It’s time to start training for real now 💪🏼

Second last run before the 10K, getting so close! Needed to gear up for the weather but it was worth it ❤️

Evening easy run of 4km to rest after the 7km yesterday, which was the longest run so far before the 10K, feeling strong 💪🏼

Had a long run today to start building up distance for the 10K, felt so good to just get out to run without worrying about keeping a certain pace 🎈🧡

Today marks the end of my 5K training, concluding the run in just little over 30 minutes!! Not bad for being the first one 💪🏼 now on to training for double the distance, wish me luck!!

Today marks the end of week #7 of training for someone new to running, powered by Runna. Feeling better and better every time I get out to run and we are getting close to a full 5K!!

We are running more and more now, building up the endurance. Need to learn how to better pace myself as I give it all too fast now! Had a great time on the moor with a lovely breeze cooling me down &#

Haven’t posted other training sessions over the past days but they did happen and we are sailing ⛵️ feeling good and even more motivated to reach my goal!

Last run of the week has been my struggle since the very beginning of the training, however today it felt good, with special guest Amy the storm, featuring lovely 47mph blows 🧡💪ㇿ

Ran after work and my legs did not cooperate at all. Definitely felt this run, but in the end we got it done with a smile :) 🧡
