Sled improvements. Matches angle of the ground properly, suspension and far better handling. Dust also increases based on speed and turns. This particular bit of jank has been bothering me for a long time. #gamedev #indiedev

Old, prototype and current. The prototype moved individual feet up and down. The skinned version moves 4 bones in the same exact way. #gamedev

3 versions of the sled. The first looks like a frame/scaffolding. The second is made of wood, but has stiff looking legs. The third has curved metal legs that act as the skis and suspension simultaneously.

The old one was supposed to look like it could plausibly fold up into the backpack slot, but I never loved the design. He's got 15 hats and a helmet in that backpack. Leave your physics at the door. You're in the penguin's world.
