Still playing with this. I got a little too precious in panel 5 but whaddayagonnado
A page of comics. In the first panel, we see a sprawling, crumbling cemetery with an old Victorian house in the back. Then the title: We All Die Sometime, the lettering decorated with skeletons. Another shot of the cemetery, but now we can see an awkward, thin figure silhouetted against the sky. Is it a zombie? The next panel shows us a closeup of the figure's face, and yes, it is! A smash cut to an old CRT television displaying an image of Tor Johnson. Then a shot of a portly, balding man watching the tv while eating dinner. The zombie is in the door behind him!

I spent the last day or so by Trillium Lake and that was pretty nice
A view looking north from the South tip of Trillium Lake. Mt Hood is visible over the trees on the other side.

I found these two penciled pages in a notebook. I have no memory of drawing these or when I might have done so
A page of penciled comics titled Explorers Into Mystery. Two men and a woman sit on the other side of a desk from the reader. In the second panel, we turn around to see a third man sitting behind the desk with a window at his back. In the third panel, we get a close-up of the center man in the first panel.A page of penciled comics. The first panel is an establishing shot showing a run-down cemetery and a nearby crumbling Victorian house. The second panel is the word "Title" surrounded by skulls and bones. The third panel shows a silhouetted figure in the graveyard. The fourth panel shows a closeup of a zombie face. The fifth panel shows an old CRT television set. The sixth panel shows a man eating in front of the tv as a zombie appears in his doorway.

My initial inspiration for this cover was to make something sort of similar to one of EC's horror books so I kind of strayed far afield here, but I'm happy with how it came out.
The cover of Tales from the Crypt #39, featuring a crazed killer chasing three boys through a cemetery. The top third of the cover is devoted to the title, and there are three circular frames showing the faces of the three horror-hosts.

I have been working on the same thing for like a week and a half but I think I'm happy with it now. I also made a censored because some people might prefer that
A cover image for my comic The Shit Kids. It's designed to look like a corkboard, with a torn piece of writing paper tacked to the top with the title written on it. Taped to that is a strip of paper with "by Les McClaine and Dan DuBeau" typed on it in a grungy typewriter font. Below that is a painting intended to look like a flash photo of Dwight and Dirk, two teenage duck boys, at a house party. Dwight sits on a milk crate and Dirk is leaping off the kitchen counter, clowning for the camera. Taped to the side of that is a four-picture black and white photo booth strip, featuring several images of Dwight, Dirk, a cat girl named Krista and a raccoon girl named Rachel.the same image as the first, but the title has been changed to "the $#!% Kids"

The same cover as the previous post but I've made it look like a collection of pictures and papers stuck to a corkboard.

I did some photoshoppery to try to make this look a little more like an old photograph
A detail of the cover from my post last night. I've blurred the painting slightly and added a film grain.

Still making progress. I think my painting got better over the course of this one. I'll have to make time to keep learning in the future.
A cover image for my comic the Shit Kids. There is a large image, digitally painted, of Dwight and Dirk, two teenage duck boys, in a kitchen. It is intended to look like a candid flash photo taken during a house party in the nineties. Next to that is a strip of photo booth photos depicting Dwight, Dirk, Krista (a cat) and Rachel (a raccoon) in various combinations. It's still in the pencil phase.

I saw this on Reddit and guffawed
A group of people riding in the back of a pickup truck. The people are labeled $AMD, $NVDA, $AAPL, $GOOG, and $MSFT. The person labeled $NVDA is using the latch for the tailgate as a support, indicating that if they slip a little, the tailgate will open and all the people will fall out.

I got the proportions all screwed up on the big image. I've got to redraw it so they're squinchier
cover pencils for my comic The Shit Kids. I've drawn the two duck boys with much too realistic proportions in one part of the image.
