Why is Michelle Obama on this poster? Truly. I want non-Black Women to interrogate the ways in which anti-Blackness forms your thoughts even around "resistance". Where even in your imagination Black Women are a source of labor in service of your liberation.
A protester holds a satirical poster styled like a K-pop movie poster titled “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS.” It features three Black women in pink outfits standing confidently, styled like a pop girl group. One is centered with blue braids, flanked by two others with long ponytails. The bottom of the poster reads: “I don’t think you’re ready for the takedown.” Below that are names of public figures targeted by the satire: JD Vance, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Trump, Elon Musk, and Karoline Leavitt. The setting is outdoors with crowds gathered on stone steps. The people holding the sign are partially censored with black scribbles over their upper bodies.

Spent the week in Baltimore for @uua.org General Assembly, connecting with many friends & colleagues and celebrating the 10th anniversary of Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism - an org I co-founded. A decade is a long time to keep a faith & justice organization going. Super proud of this work!
A photobooth collage of two smiling Black women celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism (BLUU). The background is dark with gold confetti and balloons, and the words “Happy 10th Anniversary BLUU!” appear in white text. The three photos show the women in various playful poses — peace signs, laughter, and a surprised expression. One woman wears a colorful patterned dress with a BLUU nametag, and the other wears a black and red sleeveless top with long green and blonde braids.

Flashing lights from police vehicles illuminate the tense scene.A line of police officers in riot gear and body armor stands across a street at night, some holding transparent shields labeled “POLICE,” others holding rifles.
