Gorgeous day today in Richmond Park. An abundance of robins. The deer gathering for the rutting season. The magnificent oak trees. Squirrels scarpering around for acorns. Bike riders, horse riders, hikers, dog walkers, runners, wedding photography groups 📸 all enjoying the Autumn sun

Am now retired from @england.nhs.uk through voluntary redundancy but it will not dim my passion for #LivingWithAndBeyondCancer. I remain as a trustee for @prda.org.uk a small but mighty charity working to improve quality of life for people with difficult chronic problems after pelvic radiotherapy 💙

This sounds hopeful from Jim Mackey in HSJ re shifting funding to community based services that prevent admissions. If achieved, this will help efforts to reduce the impact of cancer & its treatment, through preventative & proactive care that improves QoL & reduces crises & use of hospital beds
