I don't know if it's the politics or the saturation, but I'm sick of stories about wizard societies. Can we go back to where the wizard is one person on a team where everyone has different skills? And your wizard is either really good or really bad at magic? Maybe there's a rival wizard somewhere?

Othe exception to my complaint: 2. It’s usually hilarious when the pictures on the walls are stupid things that no one would ever frame on the wall. They just lampshade that this stuff is only there for the narrative and lean into the joke of it.

Not as much overused as misused: I love when flashbacks or background information is shown via pictures on the wall, but if that background info requires more explanation to understand, then it bothers me that the authors/boarders didn’t choose to spell it out differently.

Yes, there's a real disconnect between what they can do and what customers will put up with. There must be some Microsoft employees who know that this is a bad idea, but literally everyone there should know it. It's troubling that any game company employee thinks this will work out.

I am usually in favor of tasteful advertising. I understand the necessity of it and I like to be informed of products and services available. But if the ads infringe too much and damage the essence of the experience, then there is no point in participating in any of it.

Also, please do not interrupt an immersive experience with something that breaks the audience's concentration. That interruption of the flow of the experience will cost more that just the time it takes to run the ad. It will degrade the entire experience.
