Welp, I guess it's not surprising but this platform isn't valid for... Things like MTBing. It's probly not even successful in general, given the decline in new users. People treated it like a fad and that's what it became. Thanks to everyone who joined me for a lil bit :) It was fun. ✌️👋

Norco releases new Revolver. Looking like an outright 10/10 on paper, visually as well. Will be interesting to see reviews roll in but a lightweight, fun, peppy downcountry bike is a pretty safe bet. Nailing the frame paint and the build spec values is a start. #mountainbiking #MTB

Okay, I found something I actually liked from Bike Mag. It's hard to describe the biking culture as a teetotaler. All I know is I've almost cancelled my mailing list from SkyPark because they've been advertising their new alcohol bar nearly daily... 🙄 #mountainbiking #MTB

Why Booze and Bikes Are a Strange Mix - Are We Glorifying a Problem?

Beer and bikes have always had a symbiotic relationship, but I don’t like the glorification of alcohol and riding bikes.

Sorry no industry posts lately. Been a mixture of many posts I don't care about and almost nothing that really moves the needle for me. Giant released some new bikes, they are at least better values than the new Treks. I am okay with boring, I guess, but hopefully not expensive boring lol #MTB

Sure, Orbea may have released the best #MTB of all time this year... But this bike is less than half the price of that Rallon right now. Insane value, 2500 for a Specialized Status 170. Lotta new bikes being released, including the cool Fuel line up concept from Trek... But they all fall short lol 🤔

Grabbed these rad pads on sale. Over 50% off. I will say as a former BMXer who hates pads, the fit and feel of the higher quality stuff is insane. I'm only learning this lifestyle now with the crazy post-covid sales. These feel like the best compromise between comfortable and protective. #MTB

ITS STARTED. Hardline. Wales. 2025. Some big names are missing due to world cup overall concerns but otherwise Asa is out there and many others such as Ronan are already swinging off it. BK is getting roasted left and right and the track looks great for now, let's see about that weather. #MTB

Less than a year into being a 'SRAM customer'. My G2s failed mid-ride, causing a crash. Thought they may have just had an issue needing a bleed, but shop confirmed part failure and warrantied them. DB6s I replaced them with have sticky pistons out the box... Same as the DB8s on my GFs bike 😂 #MTB

This has been a lot more fun than I thought. Day 2 the internet decided Pivot is the most overrated (but basically just saying its expensive/overpriced)... So far day 3 the best FS has been Stumpy, unsurprisingly. Def a popularity contest style format. #MTB #mountainbiking What's your favorite FS???

News from Andorra qualies. Juniors have beat the elite mens time, by nearly a whole second. Juanfer continues to impress, qualifying first. JG not far behind in 5th. Gracey qualies P1! Aletha also goes Q1 which is rad... Jenna has missed finals, by a quarter of a second. #mountainbiking #MTB

Community pointing out some fun facts about Val Di Sole DH... Many riders, including the winner, riding a V10 that, as far as we can see, is not modified and technically a stock, off the shelf build. Outside of literally taping some weight to it. Obviously it's the rider, not the bike... But. #MTB

While I am generally a Bosch truther when it comes to ebikes... The entire industry needs to look on and take notes with TQ's newest motor that is BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE with their previous generation. I'm not sure what limitations there are, but if you can essentially upgrade that's amazing. #MTB

I can't express enough how the womens elite DH winner was DEAD LAST at split 1... Essentially starting the race 3 seconds back. Muscled her way to P4 by split 2. P2 by split 3. And finally in the green at split 4, to go on and win the race. Ultimately crossing the line 3 seconds up, from 3 down!!!

A 1-1 for Canada in downhill today. That's amazing. I'm kinda wondering if that's a first for downhill world cups. I really thought this race would be a slightly boring winners always win venue because of the dry terrain, but WOW it lead to some shockers. Fun! #MTB #mountainbiking
