i've turned 25 last sunday and i still processing that. in a spontaneous turn of events now i have a camera (Canon EOS1100D) and im messing with it. and all that started from me just liking to photo cool clouds and skies alot for the past two years 🙃

and yeah, i never mentioned it but Wolf Fang made me check out Gundam (og one) some time ago. and i pretty much liked it, even though it took me alot of time to watch it in full (cant watch alot in one go + was taking long breaks). still cant decide what to watch next.

Chelnov never felt like that for me personally, but maybe "comic book superhero" inspired visuals of arcade version does something for that

been digging thru Wii virtual console and discovered Ironclad (and the story behind it). the fact it wasn't rereleased since and didn't get on Arcade Archives NEOGEO is a damn shame. this silly looking game have grown on me

Leót @leotbuddy.bsky.social · 20/07/2025

became one year older yesterday, bsky doesnt has balloons so i brought these from gifcities

i've finally done it, i 1CC'd arcade Skull Fang today!! my hands still shaking from the finale. unfortunately these screens is all i have. current game's status in MAME is "overall not working" and game tends to always crash on continue screen and also at the end apparently, so no highscore screen

Leót @leotbuddy.bsky.social · 02/06/2025

speaking of whats next, i really can't stop thinking about Assault Suits Valken mech, but i fear its too late to search for this one (yes i played it earlier this year and this game fucks)

after two days and one sleepless night i fully assembled it. not without casualties, but everything went alright. a bit more fragile than i hoped it would be, some joints are weak (knees especially), but all in all i'm very happy with it. #dataeast TYPE01 SORYU my beloved~

i've been grinding Skull Fang since i got Saturn Tribute back in december. all that resulted into 1CC on a random day. its the very first time i ever 1CC'd a shmup. i think i don't need to say i fkn love this game at this point

Leót @leotbuddy.bsky.social · 02/04/2025

Shoutouts to Fighter's History: Mizoguchi Kiki Ippatsu!! turning 30 today! For a half-port half-spinoff of FHD/Karnov's Revenge on sfc it offers surprisingly a lot: Mizoguchi story mode, training mode, KoF-style teams mode, combo trials and (restrictive but nontheless) tag mode with 4P support!

never heard these critiques on saturn Wolf Fang before. all i can say is that both PS1 & Saturn has arcade mode which I assume returns og enemy patterns and SE (not charge ready tho). overall I don't have anything bad to say about these ports from my experience.

i also have been playing a lot of shmups this year as i started to get into the genre in last two years. so i might as well just throw in the whole separate list of them

000

Leót @leotbuddy.bsky.social · 31/12/2024

its less than 2 hours till new year for me rn but i still wanna do a belated roundup of things i played this year. alot of them are random things i stumbled upon or classics i wanted to catch up to. this list is fully chronological

technically its not??? in actuality its a HQ version of ost that DECO released and its labeled as just "original versoin". the only arrangements this release had is two Skull Fang tracks (theyre 10/10 btw). still, nice find actually, i never listened to this album's versions of tracks
