I got my camera kit 15 years ago and it has essentially become an extension of my arm and eyes. I love it. But. I've found recently that it's showing it's age and really struggling with speed and reach and no tweaking will ever fix that. It's finally time to upgrade!

I took 1300 photos of whales and Orca on my SLR. In the Azores I was just happy to get a shot but in Norway we had so much more time with the animals and it was just us. Meant I got to go all arty with my photos.

I used to be a data analyst for Supply Chain before I became a SC Manager. In my last job I worked with a data god and compared to him, my data stuff looked shit. Now I'm at a new company trying to explain data theory to my staff and actually I am amazing at this shit, I just got lazy.

Packing for the Arctic is hard because so many layers are required. Usually I just need a backpack and my camera. Currently I'm wrestling with a fat cabin bag that needs to fit my tripod but weigh less than 8kg! Love my new jacket though!

I think Thunderbolts is really up there. Definitely in the top 3 post Endgame films but also pretty high up for the MCU as a whole. Proper GOTG1 vibes. So nice to see a recent Marvel Movie that didn't look like it was stuck together in post production with cheap looking expensive reshoots.

I officially won the 12 week step challenge I did 472,120 more steps than my closest competitor. Totals are: 1,611,800 steps 1,233.31km I didn't really change my diet but I've lost 5kg and gone down 4 belt holes. My heart average bpm dropped from 65 to 56.
