I so often end up in staying in hotels that are "convenient to transportation" (i.e., ON THE FREEWAY) that I carry industrial earplugs in my backpack. These 3M ones are great. (For future reference, doesn't help you tonight, sorry...)

As if she remembers Bo Brady. The actor, Peter Reckell was our neighbor for many years. Really nice guy with a house full of rescued dogs.

RIP Bob Mackie. A great talent and a genuinely kind man. In 1994, my then partner (now husband) and I rented an apartment in a landmark building in W. Hollywood. Legend was that this was Mackie's former apartment. I met him after a show in 2021 and asked if it was true. "Yes! In 1963! With Ray!!!"

I just placed a delivery order from Sam’s Bagels in W Hollywood for 6:30am delivery. Can’t wait for that wonderful, warm bag of bagels fresh from the oven sitting on my doorstep in the morning. So good. If your local and you’ve never been to Sam’s, give it a try they’re on Sunset at Fairfax.

I’ve spent way too much time in Texas and Alabama and not nearly enough in Washington and Oregon. Also kind of weird that I spent the first 29 years of my life in Wisconsin and I’ve never been to Iowa. One of the best housemates I ever had was from Cedar Rapids.
