I've been mainly doing Leda's route so far but I took a break after Ch9 (holy shit, btw) to play Cai's and this is the energy so far

I drafted the start of a piece about this once and never finished it but it bugs me so badly. My kingdom for more varied stories about disability in video games, please

A screenshot of text. It reads: You open up a video game and navigate through its main menu, clicking past the 'NEW GAME' prompt and the orchestral swell of the title theme music. After its opening cinematic, you cut to the beginning of the gameplay, probably guiding a man into the combat tutorial. Maybe it's two minutes into the game, or five, or ten, and then the pop-up appears to explain the gameplay mechanics of your character's prosthetic arm.

Which video game is this, I wonder? Eidos Montréal's Deus Ex: Human Revolution (2012)? FromSoftware's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (2019)? Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (2023)? Sandfall Interactive's Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (2025)?

Autism heaven is also autism hell when you think about it

A picture of several (like, really) pieces of merchandise, mostly prints. The A4 prints are of Renoir and Alicia, Clea and Simon, Verso, Togekiss, Cindered Shadows Byleth, Daredevil, and Ike's family (including Soren). The A5 prints are a group Verso, Maelle, Monoco, and Esquie, two Maelles, two Versos, Renoir and Alicia, and Nightcrawler. There are postcards of six fantasy landscapes, Esquie, all four Three Houses lords, Ike, Byleth, and Shulk and Noah. There is also a square Witch Hat Atelier family print, as well as charms of Siffrin, Verso, Monoco, Malos, Pneuma, Togekiss, N, and Alvis. There are stickers of Claude, a Swinub, and an asexual whale shark. There are also badges of Gustave and Sophie and Esquie.

Mild Hurt/Comfort, Fluff, Bathing/Washing, Pre-Relationship, Post-Timeskip, Scars, Pining, Implied Trans Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd

Summary

“Sorry to interrupt your very important conversation,” Sylvain said, moving an arm around Dimitri's shoulders. Proving exactly what Sylvain suspected, Dimitri leaned in, his body pressing up against his side. Sylvain tried not to think about how that made him feel. “I just have to pinch his Majesty.”

“Ah,” Dimitri said, shifting slightly awkwardly underneath Sylvain’s arm (but he didn't pull away, and that was what mattered). “I am not yet King - and may never be, if we cannot complete the battle we started.”

At the end of a long day, Sylvain notices that Dimitri still hasn't had the chance to take a break. He takes matters into his own hands.

I played an indie game that ate my life and wrote a 13k character study of the softhearted emo boy, surprising no one archiveofourown.org/works/52281487

The background is a dark purple and blue night scene, with glowing blue mushrooms and a purple wormhole in the dark sky. There's a white mushroom 'growing' from the word 'me'.
