My grandparents and their children were Russian WW2 DP's (Displaced Persons/refugees). In 1948 the US Congress passed the Displaced Persons Act which allowed 200,000 DP's to enter the US over 2 years. The Republicans only voted for the bill if it banned Jews. They have always been racist assholes.
