-Take the frozen Russian assets and get them to Ukraine and out of Trump's reach. -Fast track Ukraine, at least intensify cooperation even more towards ascession. And the toughest one: -Curb the influence of American Big Tech, especially Social Media. Regulate algorithms at the very least.

When Ukraine wins it will be fast tracked into the EU and make it even more powerful so Big Tech doesn't want Ukraine to win. I don't think they care too much if it loses or the current situation continues as long as it doesn't win. So the EU should probably do a couple of things:

There is of course the bigger picture. Backers of Trump, the Big Tech boys of the Nerd Reich, hate the EU and its regulation. So Musk c.s. are very much into destroying the EU through the AfD's and Le Pen's. A divided and unregulated Europe is easier to exploit and monetize.

What Putin promised Trump? I have a gut feeling it is a part of the frozen assets in Brussels. Would explain why the U.S. admin is now trying to get their hands on them 'to help the negotiations.'

Trump's own memory may be mush but he also understands his voters memory only goes back one or two news cycles. Problem for Trump is that dumping Ukraine and helping Russia is even less popular so now you see them walking it all back.

Well, Trump is in a bit of a pickle with the bad midterm polls and high diesel prices and he couldn't of course give the real reason: the failing Iran war. So he blames Ukraine because they are bombing refineries. That Russian diesel has been sanctioned for years and had no influence is immaterial.

Zelensky didn't produce false evidence for Trump in his first stint so in Trump's mind Zelensky got him impeached. And Trump is very vindictive as we well know. So he's completely happy to throw Ukraine under the bus because it's just about Zelensky for him. Why now?

It's fairly simple. Trump isn't about geopolitics. For Trump everything is personal. personal gain and personal glory and 'L'etat c'est moi'. For him HE is the U.S. and Putin is Russia and Zelensky is Ukraine. He wants to be like Putin, and Putin promised him riches.

I have a feeling the diesel deal is from the same fantasy world since Russia has no meaningful surplus and Russians are complaining about the quality of the diesel they put in their cars. It damages their engines. So whatever they have, you don't want it.

Russian diesel is not certified to meet U.S. standards and is unlikely to undergo certification. If Russian diesel ever makes its way to the United States, good luck to anyone who puts it in their vehicles.
