I showed a friend Mastodon and he urged me to partake in #caturday with his cat called Bärbel He adopted Bärbel from the shelter and she was very violent at first, but she calmed down and nowadays even I am allowed to pet her <3

The Trump-effect at work shamelessly stolen from www.cfr.org/articles/china-now-outr…

statistics of the US' international favorability world-wide compared to China, with it being way down during Trump's first term, going up in Biden's term, and then steeply declining again in Trump's second term. The US is still more liked in indo-pacific regions because China is universally hated there.

Reads:
The United States has seen a steep decline in favorability among its Western allies...
Canada France Germany Sweden
...while it retains a favorability edge among many of China's neighbors.
India Japan Philippines South Korea
