On your birthday you have to wear the hat. I don't make the rules.

My daughter was JUST looking at this.

A box with locusts crawling on it. The box has a beige front and blue side. On the front, "Holy Locust" is written at the top, with "Whole Locusts" below it. One (or maybe more, I didn't look that closely) dead locust are in a glass tube inside the box.

Who's headed to #RSA? If you are, come find me in booth 6353 to talk #monitoring, #observability, and #telemetry. (And to snag some of the coolest swag of the conference. Trust me on this one)

A green-tinged AI-generated background of people in a NOC type environment. "Will I see YOU at RSAC 2026" is in large white letters at the top. "Let's talk telemetry at booth #N-6365 is in teal letters below that. "March 23-26, 2026 appears in white below that line. Then a map pin icon along with "MOSCONE CENTER | SAN FRANCISCO, CA" in orange. At the bottom are the logos for Cribl and the RSAC 2026 Conference.

I tweaked my gear and setup, and I'm ready to start the 2026 video season!

A glass-top L-shaped desk with 5 monitors showing the Ubuntu background. An assortment of items sit on the desks including a wireless gaming controller, a pair of headphones, and an old Sun SPARC keyboard. On the walls behind the desk are a number of framed photos and 4 shelves with figurines and books.

A Sony ZV-E10 camera connected to a teleprompter hood. You can see the picture it's taking in the viewing screen of the camera. In the background, somewhat blurred, is an L-shaped glass-toped desk with 3 monitors visible. On the walls are an assortment of framed pictures, floating shelves, a sword, and arrows.

An office desk showing a laptop and keyboard between two large monitors. In the background are two video recording lights, a camera and prompter on a tripod, and numerous bookshelves sstuffed with an assortment of books and supplies.
