I also put together a brief, easy-to-follow gpose tutorial aimed at total beginners. It uses reshade but requires no mods or posing tools. docs.google.com/document/d/1...

A Brief GPose Tutorial

A screenshot always starts with an idea. But you discover what you want to make on the way. Start with something simple–an idea or a feeling. In this case, I wanted to do a classic. Red yukata. Do...

For beginners, try these guidelines. They're not rules but they will help you when starting out: - Rule of Thirds. Look it up, compose your shot accordingly. - Camera Zoom to 200. - Start with portraits. Your subject should take up 1/2 to 2/3rds of screen space. - 3 Point Lighting, Intensity 1.

As long as it save your time so you can focus on the shot itself I'd call it a mission accomplished!

More tests - Icon and pane shape/transparency, fonts, element positioning, group/fanout fine rotation, individual scaling/positioning.

Working on a Dalamud plugin + Reshade addon pair that should make the creation of those "glam card"-type images much easier to compose and render in-game

YESSS! I'm right there with you, you have NO idea how many screenshots I took with that flag off by accident. Glad it solved the issue ^^

Oh! That sounds like a ReShade setting issue. Make sure you have this toggled on: "Clear Alpha Channel"

The fix will be generally available in the next GPosingway version, but you can take it for a spin now and see if it works with your presets!

CAS originally expects an sRGB-encoded back buffer at end-of-frame (hardware SRGBTexture + SRGBWriteEnable), and UI bypass fires render_effects mid-frame, still in linear color. That results in gamma applied to non-sRGB data. Double gamma = darker scene.

FFXIV #ReShade REST users: if you run CAS sharpening alongside REST, you've probably noticed your scene looking visibly darker after the last update. A tentative fix is available on the #GPosingway repo. github.com/gposingway/g... (Boring details follow!)

Better spatial detection: Directional/stereo cues are more accurate, left/right routing actually behaves like a stereo field now. New uniforms: More signals exposed to shaders. Beat phase, tempo, spectrum bands, spatial, in addition to v1 uniforms.

#Listeningway 2.0.1 is out! If you've used the original v1 reshade addon, here's what's new: New engine: v1 was... a mess. V2 is a (slightly better) DSP pipeline. Easier to extend from now on. Integrations: #OSC (for TouchDesigner/VRChat/DAWs/etc.) , #OpenRGB (drive your KBs, RAM, fans, AIO, etc.)
