A team of researchers in Florence observed the formation of #quantum droplet arrays in ultra-cold atom mixtures. The phenomenon is caused by surface tension, leading to the breakup of atomic filaments into droplets. Read the study, published in Physical Review Letters: bit.ly/4c1nUF1 #CNR
