What an extraordinary gift I received today! When the Soviet Union invaded Finland in 1939, the Finnish consul in The Hague started a fundraising campaign. For that purpose, silver spoons like these were made. It shows the Finnish pennant, and a Dutch inscription: "For the brave Finnish people"

Vappu (Labour Day) in Tampere is always a suitablr day for demonstrations. But why are the anti-fascists surrounded by an almost equal amount of police officers, while the Soldiers of Odin stand by and watch like a bunch of Goofies? I honestly wonder who is provoking whom there.
