Like the Mayor, I’ve faced racist comments, harassment, threats, and even death threats over the past four years. These are just a few examples below. They may try to intimidate us and silence us. But we will not be scared into giving up. This is not the Vancouver we should accept.

Yesterday I had the privilege of witnessing and welcoming 26 incredible people from 15 countries become Canadian citizens at the PNE Amphitheatre. Watching them take the Oath of Citizenship brought me back to the day I became a Canadian citizen after arriving here as an international student.

Vancouver has made strong progress on 3331 policy, improving a permitting system once slowed by delays, red tape & unnecessary costs. Since 2022: ✅ 92% of simple renovation permits are now approved <3 days (vs 2 months) ✅ Detached home permits are 36% faster, & laneway homes are 50% faster
