My Irish daughter is learning all about reformation…now I am an ‘original’ Bohemian/Moravian Protestant following in Jan Hus’ footsteps…but I was genuinely cracking up when she played youtu.be/odZsn7Y-VRA?...

I do an ‘Irish’ version where I replace the white biscuits with digestives as the just soak up the TiaMaria so nicely and there is more ‘substance’ to it. I am sure any Italian reading this is horrified! 😱

Heard his interview with Brendan on the radio recently. What an amazing human being!

It was my son’s (19) first time voting. I had to remind him to register, and again this morning to go to vote 🤪 He was still unsure who to vote for so he completed the questionnaire in whichcandidate.ie to fact check his gut feelings. He was then out the door. Happy out!

Or just put the year(s) on the coloured line. I think it’s good to show the chronology

Oh yeah, it is. Maybe put a timeline axes along the right-hand from top to bottom if you wanted to demonstrate that you are at this a while :-)

New image not coming up for me but first one looks ok to me as we read usually left to right here in this part of the world. Sure it’s busy but if you are not presenting it (unless each box appears in as you cover each point/box when speaking) it’s ok. It’s an infographic.

I am sad today because I cannot vote tomorrow! I am living here for 30 years, pay my income taxes, raising my Irish family, married to an Irish national. I don’t need an Irish passport as I love my Czech one + it costs €1,000 but would love to vote in national&presidential Irish elections!

Day 21 of posting cool mushrooms every day: The Bleeding Tooth fungus (Hydnellum peckii) has both teeth on its underside and "blood" on its top! The "blood" is extracellular fluid, which is squeezed out when the fungus absorbs water, increasing pressure until the red fluid is squeezed out!

A very alien white mushroom strands surrounded by green underbrush and mossy trees. The mushroom is white and almost like a triangle on a stem. On its underside, there are "teeth"-like projections. On its top, it is flat white, except there are beads of red droplets like blood.

Just finished listening to Intermezzo on Audible - beautifully narrated by the very talented Corkonian Éanna Hardwicke. What a great piece of writing! You really get into the heads and hearts of the main characters. It was heartbreaking at times but also had uplifting tender and witty moments. Enjoy

Me and my daughter are sharing one Audible account and she is a slower listener than me…and I have to keep waiting behind her…so looking for his other books to listen to in the meanwhile. What order of his other peripheral books do you recommend?

That’s precisely what happened to my mom. She was always finishing everything we didn’t finish eating or drinking…till the day she drank from the glass where my daughter was washing out her yellow acrylic paints after painting sun ☀️ for granny!
