Simone Biles beams when she talks about competing against Rebeca Andrade. I think Rebeca Andrade may have helped Simone Biles recover her love for the sport...perhaps it has been freeing to no longer be expected to win by large margins in AA, on vault, and on FX.

Simone Biles smiling text says to compete against her. Her is Rebeca Andrade.

How it started versus how it’s going l: Moira Donovan stays wrong and remarkably sensitive to any pushback

Screenshot quote skeeting Moira Donegan “you can’t imagine. It because that is now how it works. Young people who have experienced trauma and inappropriate relationships with adults are at much higher risk of further abuse, including in cults, than people who have not experienced the above”

Quotes post: it’s not that I blame them exactly but I can’t imagine the kind of privilege you must have experienced in girlhood to emerge into adolescence with enough trust in adults to be like “sure I will join this charismatic male leader’s cult.”

I am so curious what kind of person would happily live in Seattle or London but hates NYC

Screenshot. Reddit user posted: It’s very much a strong aversion to NY. I’d happily live in London or Seattle with my kids but NYC is such a strong hell no.

The being away a couple of nights a week really doesn’t lessen the time I get to spend with my kids, as there are always nights I have to work late, do a dinner etc. This way, I’m actually able to be much more present on the 5 nights im home and just work super hard when im away.

I’m still mad about this and Jumaane Williams telling people to rank Adams

Ms. Wiley, who ultimately came in third in the primary, also resisted calls to cross-endorse Kathryn Garcia, a former sanitation commissioner who finished second. Mr. Adams beat Ms. Garcia by fewer than 8,000 votes.

Under the ranked-choice voting system, if more of Ms. Wiley’s voters had listed Ms. Garcia next on their ballots, their votes could have helped Ms. Garcia overtake Mr. Adams once Ms. Wiley had been eliminated.

This happens every day to parents in NYC who were in foster care themselves. Records from their childhoods, often inaccurate, are weaponized against them
