i played the heck out of machinarium back when it came out, but realised i only really dabbled in samorost on its web versions and never really beat them ... funny enough, i wasn't expecting to blaze thru em in 15 mins (1) and 1hr (2) respectively. really fun to see the team get better and better

fun details from my current play - the headmaster of the institute is a huge owl (good) - it gets like actually dark at night. the sky is real pretty - the first friend i made was stumbling into a girl who got stuck under some boxes in the academy basement. she's really clumsy & just trips in battle

the top floor of the magic institute. two escalators (??) lead to a central room where a large owl sits atop the chair. there's also a funny little man. i forget what his deal is.
