Lake Therio (1/4) 🌲✨

Four kids are walking in a straight line to the right: a tall tan boy with dark brown shaggy hair wearing a red over shirt and jeans (Jo), a shorter black boy with a short hair cut wearing a yellow polo and green swim trunks (Xavier), a tall tan girl with a dark pony tail wearing a short purple top and jeans as well as a calico cat tail (June) and lastly a short white girl with long shaggy brown hair wearing anoversized green shirt and cargo shorts wearing a fox tail (May).

Bellow them is a lake with the title: RomeTwin Illustration Presents - Lake Therio.

We see an establishing shot of a campground at a lakeside: Small cabins and a flagpole with a therian flag to the left, a big dining hall in the muddle, and a wilderness to the right.

May stares at the large sign "Lake Therio. Welcome Campers!" looming over her. She seems nervous, which isn't helped by the bush moving next to her. May's chosen-sister, June, jumps from out of the bush to scare her. She screams.

May, annoyed: Don't do that, June!

June: Alley cats can't help it! Wanna go for an early swim?

May: Uh... I heard that's bad luck, like you'll grown an extra... eyeball on your leg or something.

June: Ewww! That's gross!!

June decides to act positive, as May looks nervous.

June: Hm. May, if you HAD to grow an extra body part, which would it be?

May: I know I know! An extra... HEAD! (To bite more people)

May starts chasing June playfully around the camp grounds.

June: AAAA! Get away from me, ya two-headed weirdo!

May: Reheheh

Jo and his father are in front of their car as Jo is handed a backpack and a travel bag. His father looks concerned.

Jo's Dad: Remember Jo, respect the counselors and their rules. They have your best interest in mind.

Jo: Yes, sir.

Xavier is with his mother as she drops him off. She's beaming with pride in her son! Xavier looks bashful.

Xavier's mom: I hope you like the trunks, you look so handsome!

Xavier: Don't think I'll need them here, Mom.

Jo's dad: Don't forget to double check your orientation status, and call us every night before bed.

Jo: Yes, sir.

Xavier's mom: You excited for the summer, baby?

Xavier: YEAH!

Jo's dad: You earned this by keeping your grades up. If you continue to do so, you can keep doing... this. I don't get it, but a deal's a deal.

Jo: Thanks, dad!

Xavier's mom overhears the conversation between Jo and his dad. Before leaving Xavier, she has one last thing to say:

Xavier's mom: Love you, Xavier!! Don't forget to make lots of friends!

Xavier: Uhhh okay Mom. I love you too.

Lake Therio (2/4) 🌲✨

Xavier and Jo are waving their parents goodbye, Xavier looks excited, while Jo shares the same anxious look of his father. Xavier waves and shouts "See ya, mom" while Jo says "Goodbye, Dad" to himself.

Xavier notices Jo and starts talking to him.

Xavier: Hey, which animal are YOU?

Jo: W-wha?

Xavier: Most campers are wearing something from their species - but you aren't. So what are YOU?

Jo: I uh... don't know yet.

Xavier: Alright, that's cool. Tell me something you DO know!

Jo: I like... hot dogs?

Xavier: You smell the grill down at the dining hall, huh?

Later on, the four campers we've just met are now running alongside each other, having a good time and being kids. Suddenly, they see some bushes shake. The four of them all peer down and see a brown `animal's head pop out. They shout: "It's a weasel. No, hold on... it's a pine marten!"

May points up the tree the marten is climbing, shouting "There's two of them!"

Jo to Xavier: Didn't realize we weren't the only creatures here!

Xavier to Jo: Imagine the other wild life that live in this eco system! Gotta get my notebook.

May to June: Let's go chase those martens after orientation!

June to May: We're gonna be SO fast!

From a distance, they all hear a megaphone announce: "CAMPERS!"

All campers are running down the hill to the lake. Xavier runs down shouting "C'mon Jo, let's go!"

Jo mutters "Woah" as he takes in the sight. All the campers are in the water, excited and having a good time. Jo joins Xavier in the water. May on the other hand still looks nervous like she did earlier. June notices and asks "Hey, what's wrong?"

May can barely answer. She says "I...just...w-what if I'm not..."

Before she can answer, two figures above a cliff announce "Hello, campers!"

The two figures above the cliff are two mostly identical looking young men: Bigfoot and Sasquach, two twin brothers. Bigfoot is wearing a black tank top with green shorts and Sasquach is wearing a green shirt and ripped jeans. Both are wearing therian necklaces.

Bigfoot: My name is Bigfoot-

Sasquach: - and I'm Sasquach!

Bigfoot: And we are your counselors this summer. We're here for the same reason you are: we want to be our true selves. Remember that when you look around and see a fellow camper. Whether you're walking on all fours, swimming in the lake or flying above the clouds, you're never alone here.

Sasquach: That said, respect each other as well as the local wild life. We're standing on their home. This is the summer that we all ask ourselves 'What kind of animal can I be?'"

Bigfoot: And now, we're about to answer that!

Both brothers jump off the cliff and into the lake. May reluctantly submerges herself as well.

Lake Therio (3/4) 🌲✨

Sasquach comes out of the water as the brown pine marten we saw earlier. With glee he shouts "Welcome to Lake Therio!". Sasquach also comes out as a pine marten, except maple colored. Bigfoot spits water at him, much to Sasquach's annoyance. He shouts "BIGFOOT!! C'mon, man..."

Fox years are peaking out of the water before rising up, as we focus on it's lone eye. We then see the silhouettes of a fox and cat staring at their reflections in the water. The fox is May with a tear in her eye, and the cat is June, looking surprised.

May has tears in her eyes, muttering "Yes. Yes. Yes..." to herself before noticing may. They stare at each other for a moment, studying each other's new form. They then embrace, both shouting "SISTER!".

June: Why are you crying?

May: I-I'm happy.

We see a view of may's fox form in the water, scared to come out.

May: I was worried that when it was time to leave the water, I wouldn't come back as a fox... I was worried...that...that I'd come back as something else, or even stay being human. Because... m-maybe O wasn't really -

June: HEY! You've always been a fox to ME. Even if others can't see it.

May: Thank you, sis.

Xavier's swim trunks are flaoting on top of the water, as we see him in his new otter form. He launches out of the water into the air, exclaiming "This is AMAZING!". Xavier then looks around, asking "Jo, where are you?". He then notices his own shadow, with a bird on top.

Jo: Look! I'm a CROW!!

Xavier happily dives back into the water as Jo flies away.

Jo: I knew I wasn't human...guess what I didn't know was...that I always wanted to FLY!

Jo flies above the lake that Xavier is swimming under. We then can see the world of the lake in Xavier's perspective, happily peering up at his friend flying to the sky above.

Lake Therio (4/4) 🌲✨

Jo peers down as Xavier swims bellow, and flies higher and higher into the sunset. He happily caws as crows do, basking in the sun with a feeling of warm relief.
