Strange; seems ko-fi attatchment links are broken for new requests. I might have to message people for references later if it doesn’t fix itself.

I was gonna wait a bit to open comms but I got bills creeping up, so I’m opening with about 5 slots if anyone would like to help out! I have the usual sketches, chibis and flat colors open! Check the link if interested! #artshop ko-fi.com/lemonybeagle...

Pokémon stuff I drew for people while I was at an event or two to pass the time! It was fun coloring and testing out some new brushes! (Both Riolus were for Mocha and the other is one of our PMD teams) #pokemon

Obviously whenever I come back to Guardia I’ll still be uploading on Comicfury (along with fixing the website and broken links) but that’s still sad ;-;

Tapas shutting down actually has me upset, I’ve been with them for so long and keep up with some webcomics there. With SSP it gave me huge steps in my own webcomic journey and remained one of my go to places to upload Guardia along with comicfury. That’s a real shame ;-;

And Starfox taking on the serious notes of battles and the hardships of keeping up the fight!!! I’ll screen about theming forever!!

LemonyBeagle | Comms CLOSED @lemonybeagle.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

YES YES YES, there’s so much representation going on in OoT, the forest theming and grass fibers aesthetic in young links tunic, to the owl theme for adult like whole still carrying themes of the forest, young Zelda’s dress having hand woven details, aaaaaaa

LemonyBeagle | Comms CLOSED @lemonybeagle.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I think that’s just me tho, OoT remake is the re-telling of a tale sewn throughout time, a timeless classic! And starfox’s more serious take reflects on the wars and battles ahead that they’re facing!

LemonyBeagle | Comms CLOSED @lemonybeagle.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Starfox was the same for me, and tbh I’m very used to remakes pushing for different art directions. ooT still gives that wondeous fantasy feeling, while Starfox seemed more scrappy, reflecting the outcomes of struggling dogfights, and becoming battleworn because of it!

LemonyBeagle | Comms CLOSED @lemonybeagle.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

When I saw OoT at first the art direction actually really took me by surprise! At first glance it looked over detailed, but the more I stared the more intricate it became! I kinda thought of dolls before learning it’s inspired by puppet theatre, and it grew on me! Made sense once I learned that!!

Sorry to those waiting on comms for a while, I’m gonna make sure to get them done but I’m gonna work at my own pace a bit since I haven’t FULLY recovered just yet. Everything is just kinda tolerable now.

Update! Surgery pain is finally at a minimal low where I don’t need to constantly take pain meds and my headaches no longer linger. So I’ll be trying to get back into art now that I’m feeling better enough to try and draw! I’ve just been more exhausted than usual but I’m doing better!

When I do not have a massive headache and my mouth pain lessens I will make thank you doodles..

ALSO thanks again for helping me this month. The procedure was actually free of charge, which surprised me! So anything I received is being put towards my rent, and tomato soup so I don’t have to chew while I’m healing up.

Got back from surgery. It was not a root, it was bike fractures @-@. I got pain meds and antibiotics so now I’m just dealing with pain and such. Have to go back on two weeks to check on it.

I have a cavity that needs to be filled but they can’t do it until after this surgery so I’m like great! I’m gonna get cut open and drilled into right after!! I’m not ever afraid of dental stuff but I get annoyed at it cuz I don’t like changes like sensitivity in my mouth afterward….
