I'm not sure if this thread will help anyone else, but I know for myself, it was reassuring to know there's still a viable way to play the games I love. I hope if anything, this thread reassures someone else that they're not completely priced out of their hobby.

Lately the state of the game industry has actually gotten me really depressed about the possibility of being priced out of one of my favorite hobbies. So I did a little bit of experimenting playing demos on the Switch 2 to see if the switch is a viable and affordable way to play non-nintendo games.

Oh You know, I feel like kingdom hearts would be perfect for that concept regardless 😂 because a lot of fans of the series completely forget that casual players exist and dont often think about their experience with the series. Interesting but sounds hard to make. Wonder if theres an audience for it

Ooooh so do you mean more of like someone who was a casual, and is now knowledgeable whose trying to understand and explain what the casual experience is like to others?

I'm watching marcomeatball play through kingdom hearts for the first time and I'd say it fits the bill of what you're talking about. Its nice to see someone genuinely engage in a sincere and fun way while also trying to understand the story and lore. His music knowledge also makes it fun.

I'm glad you like them 🥺 I feel like film photos just have a very pleasant aura to them already to that helps!

I won't flood the tl with my photos but I love film photography. Theres something so fun about getting it back and going "oh yeah! I took a picture of that!"

This week is "I need to do silly little crafts or I'll go insane" week. So here's a kutchipatchi pin for my pencil bag.

So there's definitely things I can improve on but they're still so cute enough to go on my bag! I told myself I would learn to work with clay this year so it's been fun making little trinkets so far.

Its really funny because my favorite game of all time is kingdom hearts, which has some of the cringiest dialogue known to man, but its presented in such a genuine way that its endearing. Forespokens cringey dialogue didnt even register to me because I'm just used to it.

Sorry but I think I have the biggest, wrinkliest brain ever Y'all keep your A4 folders but I'll be collecting my art in a PHOTO ALBUM 💅

A large purple photo album with multiple Madoka Magica themed art pieces. Photo corners allow for the removal of art in case I want to display it. The paper can be written on with Poscas or other markers.
