very much posting these out of order, but oh well. it's the effort that counts 😅💜✨ #art #traditionalart #peachtober26 #peachtober26spell

a small open sketchbook is laid out on a pale piece of yellow material, to act as a sort of background. the background color of the paper is pale purple. the main image is that of a crescent moon shaped glass bottle, which is filled with a 'liquid' of darker shades of purple. a glitter glaze has been added over the liquid to make it sparkle. the top of the bottle has a brown cork in it. there are golden stars scattered around the bottle. everything has been painted with watercolor, and outlined in colored pencil

decided to try my usual paint brand against a cheaper brand. this is after one coat each - I think I'll uhh be sticking with the usual 😅 #painting #acrylic #art

the image shows a rectangular canvas with a green painters tape border. the inside of the canvas has been painted brown, and has a decently smooth covering. a tube of Reeves paint is laying horizontal to the bottom of the canvas

sometimes I reckon half the time spent on a piece is just deciding on a background color 😅 #art #digitalart

I really do love making these types of pieces 🍌✨ #art #digitalart

this digital piece of artwork has a teal background. there are two yellow bananas; one closer to the lower left corner, the other closer to the upper right. the upper right one is partially peeled. there are four green banana leaves of various sizes; two to the left of the upper banana, two to the right of the lower banana. all of these are surrounded by variously sized orange-ish sparkles. everything aside from the background has a texture overlay that resembles painted paper, to give the piece a papercraft vibe. the artists signature resides in the middle of the image at a very lowered opacity so as to still be visible, but not interfere with the artwork itself.

im so happy with how this has turned out!! ahh!! a few little touch-ups + the outer border, a nice coat of varnish, and it'll be all done 🥰 it's the first piece I've made in a long time that im actually proud of, and it's such a nice feeling to actually want to display it 💛 #art #painting #acrylic

an acrylic painting on canvas. the background is brown, and there is a pink worm in a backwards S shape taking up a good amount of space, which has been lined with a darker pink by a fine brush. there are three pale golden/yellow sparkles placed on/around the worm, which are also lined in a darker shade. the border around the outside has alternating squares of color in pink and orange. the middles of each side of the border have a rectangle of green, and each one has a wide triangle of yellow facing outwards to somewhat tie in to the yellow sparkles on the worm. the canvas itself is sitting on a piece of floral material in shades of pink, red, white, and green.

there's probably a very easy, practical way to tape up a border from the inside - but it seems that I am not the person to come up with it 🫡👍 #art #traditionalart #painting #acrylic

an unfinished acrylic painting on canvas. the background is brown, and there is a pink worm in a backwards S shape taking up a good amount of space, which has been lined with a darker pink by a fine brush. there are three pale golden/yellow sparkles placed on/around the worm, which are also lined in a darker shade. there is tape around the inside of the brown paint; on the outside, squares have been marked out going around the canvas where a multi-color border is yet to be completed

I like that gouache sketchbook worm so much, I've decided to make an acrylic version on canvas, too! going well so far 👍 #art #traditionalart #acrylic #painting

actually did these back in june, but pride month is every month so!! 🏳️‍🌈✨ #art #traditionalart #painting #gouache #pokemon #pombon #gengar

a small watercolor sketchbook is open to show a two-page gouache painting spread depicting two pokemon; gengar on the left page, and pombon on the right. gengar is grinning with its eyes closed, hands up around its mouth like it's happy, or laughing. the background of this page has been made with splashes of purple, yellow, black, and white, to depict the colors of the nonbinary flag. pombon has a silly expression - eyes big and shiny, tongue poking out - and is holding a rainbow pride flag. the background has been made with splashes of rainbow color

trialing out Infinite Painter with some cats in hats! I'd love if it had a proper stabilizer option + more font variations (looks weird not seeing my usual watermark haha) but overall, it's really nice to use :) #art #digitalart #cuteart #cats

Image is of three cat heads wearing hats on a pale blue background, with some yellow sparkles around them. The top left cat is calico with green eyes, and its hat is pink with a cream heart in the middle and fluffy bauble on top. The top right cat is dark brown with dark green eyes, and its hat is a lighter shade of green with a dark purple tassel, resembling the colors of an avocado. The bottom middle cat is black with a white fluffy fringe and pink sticky-out tongue, and its hat is red with two 'sewn on' patches in blue and yellow

took a little hiatus there, but I'm trying to get back into a regular posting routine! been experimenting with more traditional art, which is always a treat 😊🍎🌷✨ #art #traditionalart #gouache #sketchbook

a small watercolor sketchbook, opened to a page showing a pale yellow bear head wearing a large red apple hat. the apple has a small stem and green leaf. the bears little ears show on either side of the hat. it has a cute, smiling expression. the background is a mix of light, summery green shades.

decided to combine some prompts, and came up with a loverly little picnic! 03 slug + 04 gingham + 05 poppy #peachtober #peachtober25 #art #digitalart #cuteart

a digital art piece created with a crayon-like brush. it depicts an orange gingham picnic blanket laid out on some grass, out of which some red poppies are blooming. on the picnic blanket are various foods; sandwiches, watermelon slices, chocolate dipped strawberries, and a frosted cake. there are also some tumblers, one of which has been knocked over. a group of slugs are on the picnic blanket, some of which are sampling the food. the slugs have not been drawn with faces, as they are quite small, but they seem to be enjoying themselves and having a nice time.

not totally sure how I feel about this one tbh, but regardless, it always feels good to stretch those creative muscles! sometimes it's more about the doing than the finished product :"> 02 kite #peachtober #peachtober25 #art #digitalart

a digital piece of art drawn with a crayon-line brush. it shows an indigo kite, trailing a line with variously shaded purple bows, against a blue sky. there are white fluffy clouds in the upper left and lower right corners. the art piece has a border of alternating stripes in purple, indigo, and blue.
