More photos from Ireland 2026

Got myself an Irish Coffee at the Flying Boat Museum in Foynes

THE BEST Atlantic Seafood Chowder possibly in the world??? From The Creamery in Bunratty. Features fresh soda bread on the side and a Bailey's Coffee behind it

The Kilkee Cliffs on the world's most beautiful day. #selfie

After the Caherconnell Sheepdog Trials, I got to hold more lambs this year!! This one is a month or two old (so much bigger than the baby I held last year!) it's mostly white with brown patches on its hooves, knees, nose, and around its eye. Sheep are just so good.

Totally forgot to mention: guess who went back to Ireland in April? Me, it was me.

Cute little thatched roof cottage in County Clare, Ireland. It has a red door and a beautiful green lawn and wouldn't you know it? The sky is a gorgeous clear blue.

Dolores O’Riordan (The Cranberries) mural in Limerick by artist Aches

Bluebells in portrait mode in front of "The Hands of God" in front of The Cathedral of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland

The view of the Cliffs of Moher as seen through one of the "windows" in O'Brien's Tower
The water and sky are both impossibly clear blue.

Nice try.

Steal tacos with onion and habañero salsa. Kevin has failed to notice the OBVIOUS CILANTRO LEAF in the lower right corner of the taco.

Always relevant:

List of fake baseball player names from a Japanese video game. Sleve McDichael is the best one.

Happy Fountain Pen Day to all who observe. 😌 🖋️ Here is my purchase from last year's FPD, and the reason I probably won't buy anything this year. 😅

A little yellow crab holding up a Kaweco AC Sport in the "2024 Carbon Black" colorway. The nib has been switched out from silver to black and it looks SO freaking cool. Additional Kaweco details in the background (sticker, pamphlet, and pen box)

Pelikan M605 Stresemann. Got it ON SALE (!!!!) this summer, but it was still expensive and I am on purchasing time-out because of it. (Self-imposed)

Brewers friends!! If you are at the game tonight: when you're leaving the stadium, can you please report if you see anything My Chemical Romance-y? Asking for a friend...

The stage from My Chemical Romance's "Long Live The Black Parade" Tour. It features letters that are kind of a weird Soviet-esque font.

Went back to Ireland and had an EVEN BETTER TIME than the first time I went. 🥰☘️ It sucks that I had to come back home, but my cats live here and I did miss them an awful lot while I was gone.

Me holding a baby lamb (2 weeks old? Maybe?) at the Caherconnell sheepdog trials in The Burren.

Paddy Quinn's pub in downtown Ennis, Co. Clare (edited to remove a dumpster out front)

This is the way. 🥰

Helo and Hera doing a snuggle on my bed. They're both black cats, but Helo has a couple of white tufts on him.

My grandma never missed a chance to tell us grandkids how proud she was of us all, and how lucky she felt to have us. Of course, we were just as lucky to have her. 💕 She was a fantastic woman, and I'm going to miss her so much. 🦋💐

Baby Lizzie and Grandma Amelia around... Probably Easter 1992? Apparently my eye has just always been Like That. Grandma is radiant. 💖

Grown-up Lizzie and Grandma Amelia. This was almost exactly a year ago. Grandma still looks great. ❤️

#CatTax starring Helo 🥰

Photo of Helo, a black cat with a couple of white tufts and orange/yellow eyes. 🧡 He is the best boy in the world.
