I gotta set up commissions before the year ends. I don't have a vgen code and I don't feel comfortable doing everything through dms so I'm probably going to use the site artist alley :D

A post centered around my oc kotoe!!!! Most of my art that I do for pygcatch tends to be on the lighter side in terms of tone, and for this I really wanted to dig into what it means to be a galatea. Oh kotoe.... how you weaponize moe for your own survival....

Dimitri is not getting replaced! He basically has hall of fame status in my heart 😎. Orlok and Noritsune are getting replaced. I still like them, but there are some characters from recent otome games I've played that have really stuck in my head!!!

010

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I'm feeling extremely inclined to redraw this old otome game related fanart thing from 2023 sometime. Not just because my style has changed a lot, two of these guys have gotten dethroned as my top faves 😭

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

These galateas were almost in the oneshot!!! (They technically are but they are in one single page offhandedly). If I ever got to draw Pygcatch for real, they would be part of the first arc. It would chronologically take place before the oneshot. Thank god the carousel is back lmaooo

It was definitely different! More focus had to be put towards the words, especially when describing things. There were points where I was trying to describe something and thought that it would be easier to just draw the expression instead 💀. It was fun, though! Makes me want to try coding again!!

000

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Thank you!! It was a very short visual novel made in 3 weeks that focused on my oc Kotoe! My friend helped with most of the coding, but I drew assets for it. I really wish I could share it with more people, but for right now, it can't be distributed easily. Here are some screenshots, though!

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Like don't even get me started on the oc-focused game I made for an old class that I want to potentially remake on renpy............

121

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Trying to wrap up my next post. I always feel the need to have a bunch of sketches and lore things attached my oc posts because I never know when I'm gonna draw them again, but man I have way too many notes app scripts of mini comics I want to do for these characters...

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I really wanted to draw gakupo in the au revoir fit because I don't see it drawn too often and now I know why. You cannot make me render that jacket ever again 💀

Yes!! I've noticed that for this year and last year, a lot more people are joining and posting their profiles. It's surprising to see even some bigger creators join in.

Fall in love you false angels is getting an anime omgomg........ literally my favorite ongoing shoujo 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 I'll finally have a good excuse to do fanart for it again.....

I've been playing a lot of taisho x alice lately. It's sooo good that I'm getting my visual novel reading stamina back. Currently 3 routes down + on Gretel's route now and it's truly... something... Kaguya's route was really compelling, but I'm genuinely wondering wtf is gonna happen in Gretel's 😭😭😭

Now that there's a carousel function, maybe I can properly lore/sketch dump like i do on insta. I swear my ocs aren't just hype moments and aura!!!!!!! Mashiro is one of my favorite ocs, and I know she's a favorite of some other people I know 🥹.

There was so much digital surgery that had to be done for the earlier pages 🫩 If you check my first oneshot post on insta from a year ago, the differences are there. Girl why were we hatching so much. Why did it take me so long to figure out how the csp screentone tool worked

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

During the opening night of this thesis show I shared with other seniors, people kept asking me if I was gonna post my one-shot online and it was so strange just... seeing people in front of my eyes express interest in my art like damn.... maybe doing pygcatch stuff for 4 years was worth it

020

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

My printed copies also came in huzzah!!!! I'm also posting the WHOLE ONE-SHOT on tapas this week.

130

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

*insert guy breaking chains reaction image* just finished art school thesis stuff!!!!! I'm so so exhausted atm but I'm free 🥹 Posts will become more normal soon I swear

A shot of the room I was given for thesis. I decorated it with a slight classroom feel because my oc story takes place within a school!

A sculpture of my oc, Fuyumi. Clay was layered on top of a styrofoam head and the base is wood that was painted. Fuyumi, along with a lot of my other ocs are called "galateas" in direct reference to the statue Galatea from Greek myth of Pygmalion. The patterns on the base are distorted motifs from ancient Cypress and Hellenistic pottery.

Another shot of the room, focusing on a table with 4 desks connected to one another. A TV plays one of my old stop motion animations, and on the table lies my printed one-shot manga to the right and the original inks to the left. The wall is littered with miscellaneous storyboards, sketches, and small digital pieces.

A close-up of the desks. A stack of manga addressed to one of my ocs sits in the middle of the table, tied together with a ribbon.

It's like 64 pages long and I did over half the pages this sem 🫠🫠 Most of the lineart is traditional which was then scanned in and edited digitally... I'm so tired yall.... I also scrubbed all mentions of honorifics in the script to prevent further embarrassment at my art school 💀

lemonemri🍋 @lemonemri.bsky.social · 28/04/2026

I FINALLY FINISHED MY ONESHOT 💥💥💥💥💥 I'm not officially posting it anywhere as of right now, but do any of my moots want a google drive link 😛

Sometimes I'm ok with being a small artist after all these years because it has "oh there's a forboding wizard's tower to the south deep in the forest that few dare to enter and even fewer live to see the wizard's skill" sorta vibes. 😛 My mutuals are like my wizard council!!!!
