NEW MUSIC Raz and Barry’s Gastronomical Tour is a silly digital fusion planet-hopping boyfriend vacation full of meowsynthlikes, fruit lore, and lots of art by @nicogotchi.bsky.social! youtu.be/y6H6Z97F4sc lemonectric.bandcamp.com/album/raz-an... #music #chiptune #digifu #furry

Cover art for the album. An upside-down anthro fruit bat spreads marmalade on the underside of some bread, dripping onto the shoulder of an anthro capybara below. The capybara is reading a pamphlet containing images of lizard people. A slice of bread with marmalade is hanging from his mouth, and an open jar is balanced on his head. They are illuminated by moonlight with funky stylized colors.

Starting 2025 with a serval sona! Art by @storiel.bsky.social, who also did my last album cover. 🐱 (Soon to come: a track from a secret santa event last month and more previews for the next album)

Art of a pretty chill anthropomorphic serval floating in space, illuminated from multiple directions by several colors of light. He's holding a tablet, wearing knee-length shorts and a hoodie with the hood down.

My Not-Spotify Wrapped is the two albums I bought today for Bandcamp Friday and that you should also buy. Grahm Nesbitt's "Bells Above the Hollow" (dungeon synth) grahmnesbitt.bandcamp.com/album/bells-... Onefin's "Places From My Dreams" (digital fusion) onefin.bandcamp.com/album/places...

Cover art for Bells Above the Hollow. Three bells hang in the air below a crescent moon and among leafless trees. I'd describe the style as distressed vector art. Very moody.

Covert art for Places From My Dreams. There are big floating rocks and wind and shit. Small color palette, vector art, feels dreamlike.

Bad phone camera but I'm enjoying this silly pairing - "Midnight Fishin'" by @asmeesh.bsky.social (left) and "dreams" by @storiel.bsky.social (right)

Two pieces of framed art hanging next to each other. Left: a werewolf with a fishing pole looks to the right. Right: an anthro cat with a whale hanging above it looks to the left.

I'd been planning to try RouteNote for streaming distribution now that amuse charges for new uploads. Looks like I need to set that up sooner than expected...

Screenshot of an email from music distributor amuse. It reads: "Some of your older releases need to be re-uploaded.

Hi there,

While doing maintenance on our systems, we noticed that you have older releases with metadata issues. These releases are missing required information that streaming services started asking for in 2021. Unfortunately, we’ll need to take them down after December 1, 2024 if this info isn’t added."

Hi. I make concept albums set in a universe where planets are fruits and people are animals. I've never been good at assigning genres, but you can usually expect some #chiptune. Maybe #digifu. I can definitely call it #music at least. Here's a little sampler!
