Here’s the thing about MN. They chose the wrong state to pull this shit - MN folks are nice / quiet / polite / helpful. However, most Minnesotans are descended from the Nordic and Germanic countries. These people take a lot but when you piss them off - holy shit. They DO NOT BACK DOWN. Ever.

Best part of living outside KCK is the amazing Hispanic food. While I enjoy cooking most of it tortillas and tamales are things I buy and not make. I CAN make both but good lord the quality of them from Hispanic markets is stellar and far beyond my abilities.

It’s very odd. I used to be one of those people who would blow through 200+ books a year. The last 5 years or so I haven’t read nearly as much - under 100 this year by quite a bit. I thought it would pick back up when I retired 18 months ago but no - not really. Even my fav authors don’t get read.

So I finally caved and bought an Apple Watch - I’ve been insisting that I wouldn’t do this for years. However - my 53 year old younger brother passed away from a massive heart attack with no warning 2 months ago. No autopsy so now I’m worried about my heart - I’m 8 years older.
