lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 18hJust had my first proper classical guitar lesson ever this evening. Learned 2 small "calibration" exercises that will help me hone my nail shape for consistent tone. FULL LESSON dedicated to nails, and I got super fine grit sandpaper for honing nail edges. Gender affirming guitar technique??? 🎸💅🎸💅🎸 040

lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Feeling thankful for the fact I have music as a creative outlet. Practicing guitar has been my evolving, humbling, and driving force for over 2 decades, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't want to be the greatest, I just want to confidently add a little beauty and color to life. <3 140
lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 17/04/2026didn't realize it til now but I've owned 7 volvos. pretty neat, I love these cars and I still haven't gotten tired of them. I'm having a car guy rennaissance as Im figuring out my new ride, a 2007 XC70. Researching radio stuff, getting ready to get my hands dirty and fix some suspension bits soon :3 030

lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 17/03/2026Getting a new cat carrier so I measured the cat with a tailor's tape measure and here are his current dimensions: 20"L × 7.5"W × 12.5"H Oh, and he has an 18" waistline lol. Round boy but so full of energy! Bless him!! 020
lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 02/03/2026This saddle material is gonna sound really nice once its done. Resonance gonna be nice. But its hard. Hand sanding the 12mm height down to 6mm would take years. So its time to DREMEL. Using my Walmart brand Hyper Tough dremel tool and its working quite well. I haven't injured myself...yet... 030
lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 01/03/2026Buy a cheap guitar? Gotta set it up yourself. B string has had flat as hell intonation out of the box, so here's custom bridge saddle round 2. This is a blank that emulates bone, and I need a compensation towards the neck. It came long, so I cut it to length and glued the extra piece on. 030
lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 23/02/2026You might describe be as an emery board enjoyer. Not quite an aficionado. I couldn't tell you my favorite brands of emery board, but as long as its small and has 1 side of heavy grit and one side of finishing high grit, I'm in. I'm on board. Emery board. 000
lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 20/02/2026It's time to post links on bluesky again haha!! This is the 4th movement Corta Jaca, of the Suite Retratos by Radamés Gnattali. Gnattali was a Brazilian composer born in the early 1900s who was quite prolific. lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 16/02/2026sitting at work thinking about how I just wanna go back home and practice classical guitar. Installed a new bridge saddle in my cheap Yamaha that gives it sharper tone, a slightly higher action, and kiiiiinda fixed some intonation issues. First bridge saddle I've ever done! Hand sanded.~ 150

lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 17/01/2026Got my hopes up about a car going through our shop that I was hoping to buy. 04 Accord V6 coupe. Super clean, low mileage. But, we're wholesaling it. I learned something about how financing a car that old isn't easy, so I will be patient. Besides, gotta pay off more debt and get my credit score up. 010
lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 06/01/2026I knew car batteries had liquid in them, but today I learned its an electrolyte (brawndo), and if the battery discharges low enough in 80°F or higher weather the electrolyte sulfates the inner plates of the battery which prevents charge/discharge. In low temps, the electrolyte liquid can freeze. 110
lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 02/01/2026Being a creative, it's no surprise that just -doing the damn thing- is the most important part, but I'm such a nerd for the process. What is your workflow, your tools of the trade? What software makes the most sense to -your- brain? How do you remove roadblocks when inspiration strikes? 110

lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 04/12/2025Realizing now that the reason I got so pissed off by the music at work was because adhd made me give it way more mental energy than it deserved. Adderall making me not give a fuck about it now was not something I could have predicted lol. Lets fuckin go... 020

lellow @lellow.bsky.social · 30/03/2025weird time for TV where you've got shows with stunning cinematography like White Lotus but they're relegated to streaming platforms that even on good internet connections still have banding in low light/shadow heavy scenes. you don't get that shit on bluray, or hell even cable tv. shame! 000
