Loved Anne McCaffrey and Mercedes Lackey and I would still say the sci-fi and fantasy genres were heavily male-dominated.
Recently looked up a list of top 20 litrpg titles...exactly 1 had a female protag.
Where is this unavoidable deluge of women authors? Is OP reading YA romance exclusively?
