yeah. I still have some of it but I changed the purpose of it to be punishments Bhaal inflicts to the breakdown the psyche of his children for rejections and rebellions to rebuild them into killing machines rather than something Durge just does for giggles.

Most of Durge's original lore I ignore or alter because, personally, I feel like Larian was just stacking bat shit insane things for shock value. Because of the sheer volume of it, it comes across as very "edge lord" to me and maybe that's by design cause we all know Bhaal is cringe but

Even I, for all my tears, won't miss him as he is for all the pain and destruction he's caused. When I first found out, I even said that it was a demon wearing my father's corpse. I grieve for the man he could have been, the glimmer of the good person he could have been

No one will miss him, hell, people will probably even celebrate his demise and the people he did this for will just toss him aside like he never existed, like he never mattered, they got what they wanted, he served his purpose.

Not only that but it just makes me so sad. So sad that you only get one life and this is how he chose to spend it - when he's gone, all me and my brother will have left of him are the news articles, that's his legacy, that he choose and I can't understand why someone would do this to themselves.
