@hikaruwusky.bsky.social managed to catch me with @dont-jinxit.bsky.social and @flinxenergee.bsky.social for this week's #FursuitFriday. Always lovely to stumble into them <3 The photo turned out stunningly, especially since Hikaru took it while suiting! Though, that view was reserved for 6 eyes.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful convention, #Eurofurence28 was super fun! I met a ton of great new people and had the chance to attend many fun events. Will definitely try to attend again next year! (I can't remember the name of this suiter, but thanks for the pic lol)

At some point I want to overhaul the entire maw area to add a throat and increase details in general, but that'll take longer.

010

Leithey @leithey.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

and since I'm already working on it, I might aswell overhaul the tongue physics by adding features like grabbing, nose collisions and menu puppeteering, to give @callistakirin.bsky.social's maelstrorca version more mouth interactivity :3

Leithey @leithey.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

I prefer single-forked tongues over the standard three-forked maelstrorca one, so I'm working on a little mesh-patcher that I'll release for free. #maelstrorca #vrchat #furry

I couldn't resist to add the crocodile tooth game to @callistakirin.bsky.social's Maelstrorca model. The teeth are just toooooo tempting to touch :3 #vrchat #furry

Hehe yup, at NFC was me. This was the first time i let a friend of mine wear the lambert suit, since i wanted to focus on wearing my new fursona suit :3

I only have @camashred.bsky.social to blame. Printed the whole Shrek movie script into receipt paper roll, all in comic sans and featuring most important image on it.

Revealing a little secret: The ears are actually detachable so that I can transport the suit more easily, and so that I can swap them out with floppy versions in the future :3

Sneak peek of an VRChat avatar base that I started working on :3

Deep Talk: it's weird how I feel waay more social anxiety trying to talk to someone in VRChat than in real life.

"How to look out of the eyes?" Perhaps some mirrors to offshift the view to above the eyes would work, like a viewfinder in a camera?

Leithey @leithey.bsky.social · 15/10/2023

Thinking a lot about my next fursuit project - and I keep thinking and researching about replacing the mesh eyes with displays and implementing eye tracking. Then, a mouth controller to control expressions such as pupil size and eyelids.

At some point during the creative process where it starts looking like an actual artwork, my brain flips a switch from "I made this" to "No way that I made this, I don't even know where to start to reproduce this, even though it's my own artwork!..."

000

Leithey @leithey.bsky.social · 24/09/2023

Even worse when I look at the traditional artworks I drew during highschool that I have hung up on my wall. I remember working on those artworks for over a month during class, no way in hell I could reproduce them nowadays, where I struggle to sit on one art piece for more than a few days!...

Leithey @leithey.bsky.social · 24/09/2023

As an artist, it's always weird to look at my previous artworks. My mind tells me that there is no way I am actually able to create something like that! - feels like I'm an imposter of myself! Even though I remember vividly the process of making it, no way that I, with MY hands drew that, right?

Hello Bluesky! I'm in the process of slowly making myself comfortable around here.

I contemplate using some base references to quickly make more stickers, at the same time I want my stickers all to be completely self-made. But needing 6 hours just for one sticker feels awful and I end up not making any new stickers in the first place qwq
