Not me falling behind on sharing my Romy art. 😅 #Deathbit #Rogue #Gambit #Xmen97

Leila Epp @leilaepp.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Rogue and Gambit are forever my favorite X-couple but I wanted to have a little fun with Polaris and Bishop. What can I say, I got tired of waiting for them to kiss. 😂 #xmen97 #Polaris #Bishop

Anyone else NOT OKAY after that Marvel Rival's clip?? How am I suppose to wait until Wednesday? #xmen97 #Rogue #Gambit

Working on more Romy and X-Men drawings but I keeping coming back to Deathbit. They really nailed that unsettling look and I'm excited to see more of his full design. #xmen97 #xmen

Thank you!! 💕💕 I may contribute to the Romy Angst, but I try to balance it out with cute drawings now and then! 💖

It looked like a burn to me (the dark red and lighter pink on her arm especially). 😂 I like the stealing someone's power idea, hadn't thought of that! Ahh!

I'm really excited to see how the Rogue Gambit/Death reunion goes. Also super curious to see how Rogue burned her arm. #deathbit #xmen97 #gambit

I'm so glad we've gotten to see more of #Nightcrawler in #XMen97! I always enjoyed Kurt's episodes in the 90s animated show (and Evolutions) and I'll never complain about getting more Nightcrawler! 💙 (I don't see people mention Wolverine and the X-Men but I also really like Kurt in that one too!)

Waiting for the return of Gambit (and Romy in general) in X-Men 97. Only wish the season was longer after waiting 2 years. So many characters/stories to explore! #Xmen #Romy

Had to draw Jubilee! 🎇🎆 She's been one of my favorite X-Men since the 90s animated show. Seeing her really shine in xmen97 has been awesome! #Jubilee #Xmen97 #JubilationLee

Happy premier day for season 2 of X-Men 97! Wanted to draw something from season 1 to celebrate, and I realized I haven't drawn enough "happy alternatives" of Rogue and Gambit in these outfits. #xmen97 #Rogue #Gambit #xmen

My entry for the Romy Con Quick Challenge. The prompt was "I love you too much to die twice." This actually was attempt 2, I still like the first drawing but the stained glass style was calling my name. #RomyCon #Deathbit #Xmen97

Day seven (and final day) of #RogueGambitWeek. Today is a free day and I immediately knew I had to do their vows (X-Men Gold 30). Their wedding will forever be one of the most iconic Romy moments. Happy 8th anniversary Rogue and Gambit! Print avaliable on Kofi! #Romy #X-Men

Day six of #RogueGambitWeek and today's prompt is: “Never use last with us.” (Rogue and Gambit #4). This was one of the first drawings I did after my first stained glass drawing (I did all the drawings about a month ahead of Romy week). #Romy #X-Men

Leila Epp @leilaepp.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

It's day 5 of #RogueGambitWeek and today's prompt is “You & I, we could write a book about it. Been down the same roads.” (X-Men: Evolution, 4.6 - Cajun Spice) My favorite Xmen Evolution episode! It was fun to have a chance to do something more scenery focused for a change. Print on Kofi! #Romy

It's day four of #RogueGambitWeek and today's prompt is “I can’t feel you.” (XtAS’97, 1.5 - Remember It). 😭😭 This one hurt to make, but a little angst feels like a requirement for a well rounded Romy week. If you also crave the angst, this print is in my Kofi shop! #Romy #X-Men97

Day three of #RogueGambitWeek! Today's prompt is “I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. By your side.” (Mr. & Mrs. X, Vol. 1, issue 11). I cheated a little and referenced a scene a little later on because I wanted to draw some action. Also loving the pink and green!! Print in my Kofi shop! #romy

Day two of #RogueGambitWeek! Today's prompt is, “When’s the honeymoon, Ms. LeBeau?” (XtAS, 5.8 - Hidden Agendas). The original scene/interaction is really funny/cute, but I didn't want to draw the actual scene from the show. So instead here's a scene from Mr and Mrs X! Print on Kofi! #romy #xmen

It's day one of #RogueGambitWeek! Today's prompt is “I have a list,” (Age of Apocalypse - Astonishing X-Men issue 1). I wanted to recreate the panel the quote originated from in the stained glass style I've been playing around with. Print available on my Kofi shop! #Romy #X-Men

Thank you so much!! I love that the stained glass style gives me a good excuse for extra flair, it really makes Gambit's powers extra fun!

Leila Epp @leilaepp.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Aww thank you!!! ❤️ It's one of my current favorites too!!

Leila Epp @leilaepp.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

I've really been wanting to figure out how flashy boy's flashy powers would look in the stained glass style. It took some experimenting to get here but I LOVE it! Gambit is so effortlessly cool I need to draw him fighting/using his powers more. #Gambit #X-Men #remylebeau

100%!! I remember Rogue and Storm's friendship being featured several times in the original animated show and I really missed that aspect in 97. Also fully agree, I wanted to see Storm react to Remy's death. Felt cheated tbh.

I like to lean into a dark elf kinda look with #Deathbit. In my mind it suits him well. Anyways was suppose to be a playing card design, but after drawing 10+ different versions in my constant search for perfectionism I caved and did something comfortable. #xmen97 #xmen

I feel a little Baby LeBeau drawing has been long overdue! I was trying to decide between a Wolverine, Nightcrawler or Jubilee bear but I felt Wolverine lends himself to a bear design rather well. 😂 #BabyLebeau #romy #xmen

Had to make a Remy to match Rogue! (And spoilers... Might have had to make a 3rd one with both of them together. 👀) I wish X-Men Evolution gave us more Rogue and Gambit moments, Cajun spice was such a good episode! #Gambit #X-Men

Remy's hair was somehow the best and worst part of this process. Each time I try another stained glass drawing I feel like I learn something new! I think I'm finally getting to a place where I really like how their hair looks. Rogue's was SO much fun. #romy #x-men
