I’m scared that what my grandmother’s become is a glimpse of what I will be in 50 years, possibly less

I hate myself. But I’m afraid that if. I wished to change myself decades ago I wouldn’t have any of the good things I have right now despite how much it fucking hurts still

And eventually getting emotionally gutpunched right as I’m ringing customers because of my own stupid bullshit decisions and my need to beef with someone who wasn’t taking it as seriously as I was

I shouldn’t have been in my phone at work to begin with. All I did was post a song for a band I just discovered and then I could’ve ignored the negative comment I got for liking their music and just gone on with my 9-5 instead of constantly arguing while behind the registers

I want to fucking take that entire day back to let the lie run for a little longer thinking that most of them liked me even though at best I was annoying-but-talented to them

Me being blocked by multiple people I’ve known for years despite me having plenty other friends I could talk to should not be effecting me more than the death of a loved one

100

The KeroPon LegoLemur @legolemur.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

This keeps fucking happening to me and despite the fact that I have slowly been getting better at not letting everything take hold of me I still skip up and those slip ups are catastrophic every time for me

100

The KeroPon LegoLemur @legolemur.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

and now the people I’ve talked to the most over the past 5 years, the people I’ve enjoyed talking to despite my differences want nothing to do with me because all of my insufferably bad habits and quirks have reached a boiling point because I don’t know when to stfu and let something go

I finally meet the loves of my life, socialize IRL for the first time in 15 years, but still have that autistic part of my brain that obsessed over things that aren’t a big deal to other people and get extremely defensive leading to me traumadumping for no reason

The KeroPon LegoLemur @legolemur.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I finally meet friends irl from online, I still have autistic freak outs I finally get my dad to stop playing music so loud when I’m in the house, I have autistic freakouts I have a bigger living space, autistic freakout I get a job and graduate, autistic freakouts that risk both

The New York Times addressed animation’s near-absence from its Top 100 TV shows poll, suggesting industry bias and unanswered voting requests played a role. ‘BoJack Horseman’ was the only animated entry, even Matt Groening didn’t vote for a single animated series.

I mean that ain’t my voice, half the time these episodes are out are when I have to go to work half an hour after, I don’t have a good mic, and the only burning desire for a review I have is taking Breaking Bears over the coals but that would require me to dedicate more of my time to that PoS
