> Cory Doctorow compares slop to asbestos: it looks nice, shiny and it is easy to put it everywhere. But if you ever need to regain control or remove the slop, it will take years of work, at best. Great quote

Des pensées incompréhensibles pour une IA alors que n'importe quel humain qui regarde ne voit que des montages des persos de SLG (nouvel amv when ?)

I'm a bit curious, why are the newer translations of Corto Maltese better ? Did Icelandic change over the years ? Or is it some play on words or story points that were misunderstood by the former translator ?

Tu veux dire la technique de les passer au congélo puis allumer un fil imbibé d'alcool sur le pourtour ? Je n'en ferai pas des verres à boire, ça laisse des bords bien tranchants. Si tu trouves une autre méthode, je veux bien savoir

In France, there's the same sentiment. But some big cities now have far-right mayors and we can point to cases of corruption, disgusting racism and municipal police forces being ultra violent on minorities.

And you could "special invoke" it with 3 other small creatures !

Magic card Urborg Panther, that allow to put Spirit of the night on the battlefield by sacrificing it with Feral shadow and Breathstealer

I'm wondering how we could build that. The environment of those addicts is full of billboards and celebrities advertising the object of their addiction. We have no equivalent of naloxone (maybe time off the internet) or drug testing program (the models are in the hands of big corporations)

Aetherize is good, but it doesn't exile. If the attack contains lots of token, it doesn't matter, but if attacking player committed important pieces, they're done for. Idk what to think about the land compensation, will it be enought to matter ?

If you look at Deep Rock Galactic, the rewards of a mission are the same for all 4 players, no matter their role. Also since DLCs are all cosmetic, you don't feel carried by someone who pulled their credit card. And in the hub, there are spaces where you can play (or not) with perfect unknowns

On Medicine bag, who's that creature with the bag ? It's not Orim from the flavour text, she's a human. It's not Squee either. A character from the Weatherlight I don't know ?

Silver Dragon is cool, but it's over 50$. I prefer Starwinder because it allows for your board to go wide and even a peck of a storm crow gives you a card. Plus the warp ability and not needing haste makes it much faster

It's "Mme Bourdefleur", a mix of bourdon (bumblebee) and fleur. IINW "margarita" is just the name of a flower, the bumblebee part is absent from the Spanish translation

It clicked for me because I had a colleague who wrote really good tech docs. Lots of screenshots, no place for misinterpretation : when you followed one of her how-to, you knew you'd end up with something working.

They're different variables, but pointing to the same value. CPython pre-allocate small integers (up to 257) as well as small strings.
