Pretty sure I was charged by a black bear near the end of my trail run tonight. It was so graceful for how massive its head was. I could tell based on its glowing eyes. It dropped its head. Charged. I went to run then quickly turned back and yelled. It pivoted into the woods effortlessly. Crazy.

This is how close I came to being rear ended at a dead stop by a distracted driver. Just this single mark and lucky the other lane was clear for her to swerve. I saw the car coming and went a few inches forward, and seeing this scratch, I realize it was just enough. So crazy!

I don't understand why some hunters act like they own major trails on game lands. I pay over $200 a year for trail memberships with trails that often pass through game lands, and I use more than 200 feet of the trails. Like don't act mad because you're too lazy to actually go hunt.
