Nintendo has released Version 1.2.0 of the Nintendo Switch 2 remake of Star Fox, adding the three new Battle Mode stages and split-screen multiplayer promised earlier this month in the latest Nintendo Direct. The update also adds a plethora of other gameplay adjustments and big fixes, and you can check out the full patch notes below. In case you missed it, Nintendo also just added the Star Fox soundtrack to Nintendo Music. Latest update: Ver. 1.2.0 (Released September 29, 2026) Added Elements Battle Mode Added 3 new stages: Katina, Sector X and Venom.

It is looking likely that a port of Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is currently in development as the achievement list for the game has found its way onto Steam. The joint collaboration between Capcom and Level-5 originally came to the Nintendo 3DS in the west in 2014 and was well-received by critics. The excellent Splatoon Raiders is fairly content-packed though some were hoping that it would replicate the mainline Splatoon games and get a hefty expansion. Sadly that is not the case as in a recent interview with Famitsu the development team have stated that the game was created to be a "complete experience" and therefore they have no plans to add additional content via DLC.

Capcom has decided to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the acclaimed Ace Attorney franchise ahead of its official anniversary date which is 12th October. The new artwork, which you can view down below, showcases a number of beloved characters from the respected franchise including Apollo, Edgeworth and more. The brand-new illustration is by series artists Kazuya Nuri and Takuro Fuse.
