Mantine hunting again this evening! We are overodds but still afloat!

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026

I kinda think I need to build a blanket fort and have some gamers over to eat junk food and play on our Nintendo DS family of systems and Nintendo Wii. I think that would fix me (also s/o to this DSi I bought in Japan that has a built in nostalgia filter on the touch screen)

And then exactly 10 years later this little one came into existence! Happy birthday to my little HGSS puppy named after a Sinnoh character!

Shiny Suicune in da Love Ball after 7333 encounters! Their name is Brita and I love them so much

Went to a retro gaming convention today and picked up another copy of HGSS and these two were the only Pokemon on the SoulSilver. I’m continuing where they left off (0 badges) and these two will be the only Pokemon I use other than an exploder for the roamer hunt. Gotta get Raikou this year frfr.

Damn, just looking at this suit again is making me so happy. This was one of my earlier cosplay hunts back in 2021. I remember finding a shiny Shellos wearing it (completely unrelated to the suit, I had just gotten it and wanted to try it on for stream)

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 06/08/2026

It makes me so mad because I used to love this suit but good lord it looks awful now.

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 06/08/2026

Everytime I see a new Spider-Man movie this is how I feel. I freaking love that guy. I gotta break out the suit again for a hunt

Went back to the Zone™️ to finish up the Badge Quest and uh… yeah… insane that my 2 fastest hunts are now both Gastly in the Zone™️. Time to EV train him and evolve for the final battle against Red. But that’s gonna take about a month or so, we’ve got a long trek to San Francisco ahead of us 🌎

I am NOT having a Baja Blast this Safari Week

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 18/07/2026

Shiny #2 of #SafariWeek was a Bellsprout! Mr Zone will NOT be happy with this information

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 17/07/2026

Safari Week streaming! These shinies are actually supposed to maybe flee so I may make this face

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 15/07/2026

Well I was expecting the next part of the Badge Quest to happen during Safari Week, but while using the file to hunt for Snubbull (not part of the BQ), 4% Tauros decided to shine so I kinda have to use it right? His name is MarsMision and he’s modest (can’t win em all)

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 01/07/2026

I forgor to post but Badge Quest #15 is here with shiny swarm Yanma!!! An incredibly fast hunt which is crazy and she’s so beautiful. Her name is Exo-Force and she’s quirked up frfr. Can’t believe we now live in a world where Safari Week ends the Badge Quest…

Just installed my first ever controller mod by myself! It was a bit scary since DSiXLs aren’t exactly the cheapest things but honestly, the insideGadgets system is really intuitive and beginner friendly! Only one small hiccup with a single connection to the LEFT control pad, but super easy fix!

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 27/06/2026

Who up being filled with joy and happiness? HeartGold BQ#14, she will become a Forretress and her name is Insectoids.

So basically he is Monke. Another Johto Dex entry in the books and named after my Aipom loving GOAT @cilerba.com

I’m so ready for Safari Week this year. Last year I was working so much (2 jobs) and had so little time to hunt. This year I’m only at 1 job and I took the whole Safari Week off so I can go crazy and (hopefully) stream at least half the days

I forgot to share this earlier but this bird couldn’t teleport thankfully

No BINGO update with this one (kinda), but shiny Pineco after 1380 headbutts in Ilex Forest on phase 1!!! Guess that week off of hunting was worth it LMAO. This marks my 40th shiny for the Johto Dex and my primary target for #CFWeek! Her name is S.O.S. and she’s Sassy (my nature guess!!)

Took about a week break from hunting after getting Tyrogue and finally decided to play “Age of Imprisonment”. I had a great time with “Age of Calamity” back when it released in 2020, but holy Hylia does Imprisonment blow it out of the water. Made TotK even better imo and might need to replay it

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 09/06/2026

Shiny Tyrogue after 15739 SRs in Mt Mortar!!! Member #13 of the Badge Quest and the main Pokemon I was hunting for almost all of #RanchWeek (maybe I can get one more (I am delusional)). Also found on my 4th reset of the day and during the Nintendo Direct this morning!!!

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 09/06/2026

If anyone was curious how the Badge Quest hunt for Tyrogue is going

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 18/05/2026

And there’s another BINGO target/Johto Dex entry! Same game as Eevee too. Welcome Tierlist the Tyrogue to the Ranch!

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 17/05/2026

Found my second Bill’s Eevee today after 4726 SRs!!! And she’s the 1:8 Female (which is why I’m making that face)! Her name is Dawn and she’s now a beautiful Umbreon 🖤💙

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 02/05/2026

Guess I gotta figure out what I’m hunting on stream later

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 28/04/2026

Finally another Bingo target has been found (granted I haven’t really been as diligently hunting them) but we welcome Book-Off the Heracross to Johto Ranch!

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 28/04/2026

It’s okay, I have my own in the meantime

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 25/04/2026

LIVE NOW! Come spend a day in Johto with us! All day we’ll be shiny hunting in Johto, looking for Johto Pokemon outside of Johto, opening cards, watching the goobers on Johto Ranch, and overall just celebrating the Pokemon community as well as my 16 year Trainer-versary!

030

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 24/04/2026

Also happy to say I’ve been rocking with these Pikachu since the 25th anniversary 🙂‍↕️

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 24/04/2026

Really cool of Pokemon to celebrate Johto the day before I celebrate my trainer-versary. Can’t believe tomorrow marks 16 years since I started with this series (also no idea how my game timer isn’t maxed out). These games are just the best, and I thank them so much for giving me such awesome friends

Just found my last Swinub I needed for the Johto Dex while watching Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Named her after the magic engine herself because this truly was her Shining Time

💫Sam💫 @legendlinke.standingintheodds.com · 28/02/2026

Hunting Bulbasaur rn, but when it shines I’ll reward myself by building myself an Eevee
