The thing about TOS and ENG, VOY and DS9 is that they stayed true to the mystic theme, the (superficial, but nevertheless vaild) dealing with Archetypes. This is what gives the show a deeper meaning, Spocks Brain and space cats excluded. DS9 is genial because it has the most mystic elements. 😑

I say this as a queer guy: I hate STRANGE NEW WORLD's modern approach of the characters. I don't give a fuck about "strong women" clichés or Spock defining his relationships. I hate Ortegas. What is she supposed to be? I think they did not even really make her Lesbian like the look suggests. A mess.

I think the STRANGE NEW WORLDS writers took certain bits of buzz and talk of Star Trek fans but did not understand the priorities. Yes, there was some "wokeness" in TOS, and some bromances and romances but they were subtle. We don't need Spock in love or everyone being openly pansexual. 😑

STRANGE NEW WORLDS is a complete failure from season 2 onwards. I kind of liked season 1 with Hemmer, but it already had weaknesses. The writers don't understand the essence of Star Trek. I think the ST audience wants some kind of mythology, archetypes, deepish storylines. Not gimmicks. 😑

However, AI in the creative process of writing a song is an abomination. If you write songs with 3 chords and an "I love you I need you" or "I am in the club being delusional thinking I am the shit" lyric, then of course AI can do that. But is that music? It never was, AI or not. 😑

The interesting thing about handmade music is its imperfection. I love that Rolling Stones records don't have clinical vocals. Gen Z moron producers doing Remasters of old albums and ruining them with Autotune and correct timing are to blame for the rise of AI. It does not make much difference now.

Also, I am not the kind of musician or producer that gets a fetish out of some hardware compressor or a 5000 Euro EQ thingy. Does it really make that much of a difference in the overall sound compared to a good Plugin? However, I will always do music manually, but I hate mixing and mastering. 😑

I love creating and producing songs. I got mixed feelings about AI. I think it is an effect of this weird trend to have a clinically perfect sound that started with Autotune. But I feel it refreshing that anyone can make music now. The smugness of uncreative mainstream producers always bugged me. 😑

C.G. Jung was a genius. It is this Anima / Animus Archetype that I find so unbearable watching certain straight couples that seem to be under a weird medieval spell, projecting weird magic things into their bland other one. I am frequently at Gran Canarias Yumbo Centre, and I have seen so many Drag Race queens there. The Vivienne, Lill (before she was on, and I thought OMG, what a terrible Goth, but I loved her on the show), KY, Divina. Almost dated one I met at Centre Stage Bar. I enjoy mixing my Animus and Anima. 😀

RPDR UK Season 8 did some bad choices in casting. Flesh is imo more interesting than Bones, but she seems like more of the same Soho style. Some queens look very alike (Coral, Alik, Naya). Anita and Mocha are boring, good sewers don't make good tv. Tequila, Paris Baby, Lucky and KY are/were awful. 😑
