You are hurting your side if have an advocate that doesnt know guns, like how politicians know nothing about guns. You should be specific & knowledgeable of a subject instead of sounding like an idiot to someone with basic knowledge of the pressing topic. Again "Assault rifle" and then its "pistol"

Congrats. Thats most Americans. A not so insignificant number of Americans already have an image of Dems being gun grabbers and having a poster child of gun ignorance does not help you win elections. Therefore not being able to have sound gun legislation.

Here's one. No sane person that knows anything about guns sees any good with a gun control advocate with this stance. "Semi-automatic rifle"...like that is terrible politically to get anyone who believes in 2A. Gun legislation, terminology and laws are tricky and specific. This approach keeps voters
