Doris Miller was a mess attendant 2d class aboard the USS West Virginia, Miller helped carry wounded sailors to safety during Pearl Harbor. He then operated an anti-aircraft gun despite no gunnery training, officially shot down one plane, but others claimed four to six. Trump was a draft dodger.
