In 2024, both of the leading parties supported exterminating the Palestinians. So I voted Green. Since then Democrats have been blaming me for Trump. I get so tired of hearing that. But I guess I will be voting Democrat this year. Lesser evil.

Most Americans have no idea what "communism" means. That word has several very different meanings. One of the meanings is "sharing," as in "Jesus recommended sharing," or as in "the billionaires who rule us recommend not sharing."

I wish that people who don't know what "communism" is would stop using it as a synonym for "evil." Sure, that's one common meaning for the word. But another meaning of "communism" is "sharing"; that's one of the non-MAGA meanings of "Christian." Do you really want to equate "sharing" with "evil"?

In a recent discussion of musicians I heard Sheeran described as much more famous than Macklemore. That surprised me; I would have ranked them the other way around. After all, Macklemore did "Hind's Hall," but I don't know anything Sheeran has done. But maybe my taste in music is unusual.

Can AI's exterminate the human race? I say yes. I say that "proof of concept" is provided by the 1984 sci-fi film "The Terminator" and several other films. The crucial issue is not "how smart are our robots," but rather, "how kind or cruel is our culture?" Which may still get better or worse.

A child (of age 13, or whatever age) might be forced to SAY that he/she believes whatever his/her parents believe, but the child cannot be forced to actually BELIEVE what the parents believe. If more children realized this (why don't they?), religion would die out quickly.
