Found another lost dog. He's chipped but not registered so that isn't helpful. He's at the humane society now

When your dog thinks the horse hay ball that came in the Chewy box is her new toy

I've been all of the above and most of my friends have too.

My dad: what are fur babies? Cats?

Today's ride. She tripped & fell while cantering, we both went down & I'm on the side of her neck inches from the ground trying to grip onto her slippery sweaty neck. Thank God my western saddle kept me from falling head first onto the ground & I somehow stayed on. Iris is ok thankfully.

It really is so frustrating. Hopefully he gets better quickly

I put Iris in a stall for a minute at my friend's place after riding and miss piggy came to say hi

Eve🪻 @leftlead.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Well that's good. Iris was dead lame for months after being trimmed so short. Almost 14 weeks before she could get trimmed again.

Someone just submitted a contact form for a fake barn/boarding website I made for school at SCAD in 2014 lmao

If you can't read it, it said Maximus Mischief with the barn name Laid Back Lady

This used tack store by me has a bunch of old race horse halters for sale with the name plates still on. This was $10 & super nice, soft leather because it was missing the crown piece. Bought the piece for $10 and the name plate fits Ivy's personality perfectly. She's laid back but also mischievous

My babies are getting older 😭😭😭😭

Eve🪻 @leftlead.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

We got this cob size halter for her and it's too big for a full grown horse, which is super annoying.

I've decided to keep Ivy after all & not sell her. I've put so many years into her training since she was a baby, & she has so much potential. She's been a lot happier and more relaxed since coming home after staying at my friend's. I just feel like I'd regret selling. (I know the halter is too big)
