@lavendertowne.bsky.social was talking about making art you would've found cool and inspiring when first learning to draw. I redrew a piece I think from middle school (2020ish) inspired by Smile.jpg. I think I succeeded (and it would've contributed to my anxiety disorder, lol) #goreart #gore #horror
Side-on view of a Borzoi-esque dog head, hanging from a meat hook by its nose, the front teeth curve inwards and have a hooked back, and are layered to mimick a Baleen Whale filter. Some of those teeth on the top jaw are broken. The rest of the teeth are carnassials, and molars. The bottom jaw has been somewhat severed from the top jaw, the connective muscles dangling. The drawing is lined with Red micron and colored with Black Micron. This dog head sits vertical on the page, save for the bottom jaw.An older, pencil drawing, uncolored. A side-on view of a Great-Dane-esque dog head, hanging from meat hooks by its nose and ear. The eye is open, glaring down and to the right, essentially behind it. The bottom jaw is also severed from the top, but the connective muscle is stretched downwards rather than cut. It has the same tooth shape as the front teeth on the new drawing, but each jaw had only four spaced out teeth, and the front two are sabre-tooth shaped canines. This dog head sits horizontal in the page, save for the bottom jaw. The previous two images side-by side for easy comparison. This is six plus years of improvement.

Also discussing depression in various ways. Like Scamper being immortal and invulnerable, not wanting to live, being given an immortal plant for when his friends are long gone. Rockhoof, who wants to be turned to stone, finding meaning and joy in telling stories of his time.

Kids' media doesn't need to be hyper-sanitized, it just needs to be appropriate. There's a difference. Even mild and abstract gore can be perfectly acceptable. (Scamper from Igor having gnawed-off his feet to help them escape, or Brain being a Brain in a jar. Scamper in general, a pretty good one.)

Found a cute way to draw goats using pentagrams. The second goat is based on a necklace I have from a member of The Satanic Temple. I drew them in a pasture. This is gonna be how I draw them from now on! #Goats #TraditionalArt
Two goats, using pentagrams for the faces. The one on the left has a normal pentagram, but the bottom point on the star is elongated and flattened, forming the snout. It has anxious dot-eyes. The one on the right, the bottom point on the star is still pointed, but shortened, and the lines forming it cross over. A V-shape is at the bottom of that cross-over, forming a bottom-heavy diamond shape. This goat's ears are more curved, elongated and pointy, as are its horns. It has concerned line eyes. The lines are red. (Each goat has six horn segments, by the way, lol)Goats in a pasture. It's in a clearing in the forest. There is a spiral sun being partially blocked by a tree on the left, casting a ray of shadow amidst the light. There's the rounded end of a fence, keeping the three goats in. There's grass and flowers, a tree to the right in front of the fence, a mossy rock in the foreground, and a tree even more in the foreground to the far left, with a bush directly behind it. The tree blocking the sun is inside the fence.

I accidentally stumbled upon an adorable way of drawing goats and sheep I may have gotten distracted while doing homework for my English class yesterday, lol
A cartoony goat face in the bottom middle of the page, made from an upside-down pentacle/pentagram.Similar goat faces, one at the bottom has a simple body attached. Between that and the original are two facing each other, having a staring contest.Another at the top left-ish of the page, but it's instead a version of the pentacle that I have a necklace of, which is drawn below it on the page. The necklace is from a member of The Satanic Temple. Another one but it's a ram with big curled horns

TW: CLOWN, UNLABELED I really like Circular Gallifreyan, but I think a lot more could be done with it than what I see around, and I also love Clowns, so I made this a while ago. I wanna get it as a tattoo, honestly, cause I really love Clowns. #Clowns, #CircularGallifreyan, #ConstructedLanguages,
A Circular Gallifreyan word circle that says "Clowns", and also looks like a creepy clown face. The C at the bottom is a blown-out eye with a cloudy red pupil, yellow iris, and makeup coming off of it vertically. The L (counterclockwise) is a smaller jester face. The O is a blue ball on the small jester cap. The W at the top right is a concave crescent (should have been an arch, but nobody cares, lol) with a layer of ruffles on the inside of it. The N at the upper-middle left is a pinned eye, the pupil being at the center of a water-squirting flower, the yellow iris being the petals. The S at the bottom left of the word circle (also a crescent that should've been an arch) is a mouth with black lipstick, pointy conical teeth, and visible gums. The teeth are yellow, stained with black blood, and the gums are grey. The entire word circle has curly, faded-fire-hydrant-red hair on the sides of its face. There is a light blue shading around the eyes (of both faces) and as highlights on the ruffles. The color scheme is Red, white, yellow, black and blue.

CW: MILD BLOOD Reposting cause I forgot to tag it This is a drawing I did of Spring Bonnie, alongside a paragraph of fanfiction. Link below to a Tumblr post I made about it, explaining the thought process in detail. #goreart #horror #FNaF #Pan'sLabrynth #fanfic #fanart
Spring Bonnie, (Based off of 3D Model by Pinkypillz and Coolio) holds his hands up to the sides of his eyes, with the eyes of William Afton embedded into the palms of the suit. Blood has dried around the snout, palms and wrists. The words "Pale Bonnie" off to the left side of the drawing.A Paragraph of fanfiction that reads: "The things William Afton did to those children were terrible, indeed that the suits themselves had had enough. None though were more enraged at his Incomprehensible glee towards suffering than Spring Bonnie. The very suit he wore, forcing it to move with him as he gored and disfigured innocents, defacing its reputation and causing them to look at it with fear, unable to comprehend (young as they were) that it wasn't the one at fault. So it snapped. The employees would blame the event on the moisture from the broken spot in the ceiling, or from the excessive movement he knew hazardous. It knew they would, and if they burnt it, or dumped it in a landfill, or locked it away forever it wouldn't mind. So long as it could halt the despicable things it was being forced to live through, time and time again. The springlocks chewed into everything. It forced his eyes from their sockets, and displaced his organs just as he had done to those kids. It would force him to suffer their fate for them, whether they were present to see it or not. Preferably not, for it would only scar their souls worse, and foster resentment unfitting of youth."

CW: PLANT GORE This is one of my Fursonas, Terrence the T-Rex. He's a T-Rex that died with the seeds of plants inside him. The plants growing inside kinda fused with his innards and keep him alive whilst also leeching off him? Doesn't make much sense, lol, but I love it. I should draw him more.
Side-profile bluish-gray Tyrannosaurus-Rex head at the top of the page, with brownish moss all over, orange and yellow Roses growing out of the caruncle of the eye and opposite nostril, and in various places, as well as yellow flowers covering the tounge and small, ambiguous four-petaled flowers growing from various places. Might make them johnny jump-ups, cause I love those. There is a vine growing as a bull ring in the nose, and spikes growing out the neck like a spiked collar. The head also has a blue, grass Mohawk. There is a drawing lower on the page of the body, which has outer, tangled vines growing as intestines. Notes around the page, including one about the blood being replaced with sap, and potentially the bones with branches or stems. Maybe they could be suckers. I will be adding purslane all over him.
I need to draw my fursonas more. An older drawing of Terrence, basically the same, but at a lower skill level. The Roses are pointier and gradiate from pink to yellow, which I like more than the solid orange and yellow from the newer drawing.

CW: ANIMAL-RELATED GORE, EMACIATION/STARVATION, I'm gonna post this while I work on a current drawing. This is a random drawing I just kinda did on a sticky note. Probably had something to do with being the working class. #gore #goreart #nsfw
A light brown sticky note with a very light tan center, and a stylized, emaciated, starving dog contorted into the tan square. The dog's own intestines are hanging out, which it is eating. The guts are stylized into swirls. Drawing lined in Microns.
I made this in March at Job Corps and hid it for someone to just find, and while the staff at Job Corps mostly sucked, that still wasn't cool.
