My new teacher @theladypim.bsky.social was perceptive and accommodating enough to offer me library passes at the beginning of our music classes, but she did such a great job of soothing me with our pre-class prayer that I didn't end up needing them.

My live roleplay sessions with @theladypim.bsky.social and @alexisokneel.bsky.social have shown me the importance of grounding, electrolytes, and simplicity, which are things one might not think about when consuming or composing online content or experiencing fantasies by mere chance.

Both my second and third sessions with @theladypim.bsky.social and @alexisokneel.bsky.social ended with me thinking I had hit a wall that marked the completion of our experiments, but within a few hours after each I started looking more closely at that wall and thinking of possible ways around it.

An emotional challenge I have with theme room roleplay is that it is difficult to wade into; either I am in the theme room in my role, or I am not. I have found that a group prayer serves as a good halfway point, because while it is done in role, there are no surprises to fear or decisions to make.

It was definitely a comfort to sit beside @alexisokneel.bsky.social in our first day of @theladypim.bsky.social's class. The teacher turned out to be quite friendly herself, but it was my classmate who helped me relax enough to even listen to the teacher.
